On to week 2 we go and the 0-1 Marion Harding Presidents come to Heise Park to take on the 0-1 Galion Tigers. Harding lost to Pleasant 42-28 last week while Galion lost at River Valley 20-19. Galion won last year 42-19. The all time series has Galion at 26 wins, Harding at 28 wins, and two ties. Galion is 3-2 against Harding since 2015. Thoughts on this one.....

Harding has a few talented players, but once again out coached and out disciplined. Turnovers killed, as did penalties. Last two seasons have been the most undisciplined Harding teams I have seen. Not sure Slater is the guy, I’ve seen teams get more out of less.

A few thoughts on this one. Galion still looked sloppy, but better than last week. Getting 4 takeaways sure helps along with some costly penalties against Harding. What impressed me the most was the final dagger. A sustained drive featuring some smash mouth run it down their throat football. The line is definitely a work in progress, but getting better as well.
