Lucas ran the same play eight times in a row on the opening drive. Four first downs on the first 5 plays then the well ran dry
Punt to Shelby. First play 70 ish yard TD past. 23-7.
Lucas may be getting a little tired.

30-7 2:53 in the third.
I’m guessing Lucas doesn’t see a lot of passing. They are defending the run well. Pass...not so much.

30-7 2:53 in the third. I’m guessing Lucas doesn’t see a lot of passing. They are defending the run well. Pass...not so much. Ontario passes the ball 60% of the time. As a general rule, teams that run the ball 90% of the time defend the run well... Pass not so much.

Ontario-21 Galion-0 late 3rd Looks like Ontario finally figured it out. First time this year they haven't fallen behind by at least 2 TDs in the first half.

37-7 final.
Lucas is a tough nosed, disciplined team. Well coached. There is a reason for divisions. They just weren’t as deep and player for players a little outmatched.

Was really impressed with Ontario tonight. They looked like the real deal. I think Ontario would’ve still beaten Galion even if Galion didn’t have any players suspended. The biggest surprise in the MOAC this year is Ontario by far.

37-7 final. Lucas is a tough nosed, disciplined team. Well coached. There is a reason for divisions. They just weren’t as deep and player for players a little outmatches. But, there was Kirtland-Solon tonight. Their enrollment gap supercedes Lucas-Shelby. Congratulations to the Whippets on their impressive win.

If I had to guess, after the top 8 teams get byes, Ontario will be the #2 team left. Meaning they'd host against one of the bottom teams in the region. If they win(should) they'd play a team with close to an equal seed in week 8. It isn't inconceivable they'll still be playing in week 9. Who'd of thunk it? This could be Ontario's best team since Valentine left for Ashland. It's amazing how good a coach can become when he has a bunch of good skill players. Most of whom weren't playing football 2 years ago.

Turns out Ontario is seeded 6th in Region 14 using Harbin Points, but I expect the coaches voting for playoff seeds will drop them down several spots. Will Lex still be up for playing Ontario after they're done with their playoff games?

The biggest surprise in the MOAC this year is Ontario by far. Being primarily a passing team in the first 4 games Ontario coaches made a concerted effort to run the ball against Galion. Out of 311 yards total offense, 233 were rushing yards.
