I look for Ontario to beat Galion. Ontario quick WRs will be too much for Galion’s secondary Hometown biased, but I’ll go with Shelby. Should be a close game, but I look for Shelby to pull away at the end. Shelby wins by 14. You’d think at some point Clear Fork has to get a victory. I’ll go with CF in this one. River Valley wins this one, by a lot. Harding struggled with Madison

how many weeks are the suspensions for? We certainly don't have a prayer against anybody until they are over.

Lucas and Shelby will go into 6OT. Get some rest, DNis and our Whippet friends.

I think it's more likely that Shelby wins by 3+ TDs than not.

I think it's more likely that Shelby wins by 3+ TDs than not. I told someone that if we lose by 1 or by 21, I will still hold my head high. I'd be shocked if we lost by more than 3 scores. The last time Lucas lost by more than 3 TDs was a long time ago, and our defense this year is legit. Now, If we somehow win? Wow. Look out come D7 playoff time.

I have a feeling Cubs will win......in 6 OT. Ok, very not likely with that many OT, but just a feeling regarding these Cubbies.

THE key for the Cubs will be their ability to have long, time consuming drives. Like they did against Ontario. Keeping the ball away from Shelby's explosive offense. AND the ability to keep Shelby from having long runs and pass completions. The longer the drives for Shelby, increases the possibility of a turnover.

If Lucas can control the clock, they have a shot. They need to keep the Shelby O on the pine.

If the plan ALWAYS worked, Lucas would NEVER lose a game. Everything being equal, some schools have a better plan or execute it better. When someone wins, someone must lose.

Finally, the game I have been waiting for. I am intrigued by this Lucas and Shelby matchup.
I honestly feel after lucas and Cf and Ontario and Shelby (all week one i know) that Lucas can ball control this game and make it come down to the final possession.
That being said... I like Lucas by 6
hope this is a dandy!

Some difficult ones to pick here.
Shelby vs Lucas. It would seem like Shelby would win this one going away, but I think the Cubs make a game of it. They need to chew up tons of clock and keep Shelby’s offense off the field to be successful. It’s entirely possible the Cubs pull this one out.
Ontario at Galion. Ontario has never beaten Galion and my heart wants the Tigers to pull this out. That being said, with two still suspended, my head says the Warriors will win this one.
Pleasant at Clear Fork. Somewhere the Colts should finally break out. Pleasant seems down but are they down enough to lose here?
RV/ Harding. Vikings win easily.

An important question needs answered to determine how to go in the Pleasant CF game. How is Tedrow's knee? It didn't not look good last week, he had to be helped off the field, putting very little weight on it. If he can't play, CF becomes VERY one dimensional. You can put 8 at the line of scrimmage. That's what Ontario did. AND he's their best runner.

Very true. I was surprised to see the lack of skill players for them. Line was solid but they couldn’t throw against Galion. It was the difference in the game.

I really went back and forth between these 2 games as to which one to use for the one non conference matchup in this week's SBC pick'em. The Ontario @ Galion game interested me because both are former NOL schools and it's a seemingly even matchup of 2-2 teams that might have been a better job of splitting people's picks. But in the end I couldn't resist the opportunity to include this unique matchup between two undefeated teams that normally would never play each other, even if it doesn't do much to shakeup the pick'em standings since almost everyone is picking Shelby. Plus Shelby does have a tie to the SBC, however brief.

With the 2 players out of this one including the #1 athlete and receiver, it’s unfortunately likely to go Ontario’s way.

This year their soccer team is better than it's ever been, they played Ontario to a 2-2 tie. Could be where some of Norwalk's athletes are, last I looked their soccer team is still undefeated. Then there's Lexington.
