Just curious, do these kids really want to play another game?

If I’m Willard I’m looking for any excuse to get out of this game. If covid gets within 1000 feet of a player they should cancel. Otherwise they’ll probably be the first and probably only team to go 0-11.

so, will Willard really be the first 0-11 team ever in Ohio if they lose this game...
I mean, there may never be another time that a team has the chance to go 0-11 in Ohio HS history...
for the sake of the Willard program, I hope they get a win this week

Screw that, why not go for history? Besides if they couldn't beat BC there's no way they're beating Plymouth. If they go 0-11 they need to put a picture of this team in there with the Charlie Frye shrine.

Yes, there's a possibility I'm speaking on his behalf.

I heard that 2 Plymouth kids who used to go here are trying to get some cheap shot on Willard. Apparently some “trash talk” was being said. Doesn’t sound like it’s gonna be a cool game. Things might get intense so it sounds

Things might get intense so it sounds That would be a big mistake. There is ALOT of frustration amongst young men who have an 0-10 record and it won't take many cheap shots to unleash that frustration. Let's hope cooler heads prevail and have a clean game between neighboring communities.

Is any of that 0-10 frustration coming out? A little, but the A.D. was on the field several times to quell emotions that ran too high. I will say this, the Plymouth players lived up to their communitie's reputation of being the most racist small town in Ohio. Plymouth's administration and parents, I'm sure, are proud of their young boys for carrying on the long standing values of being called Ohio's pre-eminent "hickville".

Willard's AD was on the field early.
I didn't realize racism only pertained to African-Americans

Is any of that 0-10 frustration coming out? 0-11 You’ll never see that again, history. Changes coming again in Willard. Always looking for changes! This is his 2nd year and he was handed a program that was in shambles, not to mention we are in a pandemic year. All I hear is change change change. They have some good underclassman players in the program but I will say there needs to be change and that is at the middle school level. Get rid of that RB character, he is not helping the program, running kids away from it. 0-11, who cares, he is building a program and has some talented kids to build off of. He is surrounded by people that know football and have winning in their blood but you want change, change to what now? Any coach deserves 4-5 years to show what kind of program they can build, and here you are, calling for his head after his 2nd year when he was behind the 8 ball to start. SMMFH

You must have been in the latrine while Joe was on the field in the first quarter ripping Willard kids for responding to Plymouth's antics. Yes, racism applies to everyone. "Beaner", "Spic", and "Nigga" were heard numerous times from the mouths of the Big Red. BTW, Joe was on the field the entire game. Standing right next to the players.

The head coach is the one who needs to go. Too concerned with making friends with the players instead of being a coach. These kids hadn’t conditioned since week one, never lifted. Asking the kids who was going to be online so they could play video games later. They never reviewed a whole game during film. He didn’t even try to schedule the JV another game when given the chance when the boys wanted to play. This coach is there for a paycheck and nothing else.

Looks like true Crimson wants to be head coach.. Let us hear your how you would coach starting with who you will have as a offensive coordinator and a defensive one too ..Name some Assistance coaches too.. You Think it’s real easy to pick up coaches that would go to Willard and coach give it a try you know they’ll tell us what you would do to pick this program up in two years Where did you pull that from my comment? I stated this coach needs time, 4-5 years to make a difference. Where in that statement does it sound like i want to be a head coach. Go back to sleep and stop making up crap.

He's raised the Ohio State program to a higher level since taking over from Urban by being friends with his players and has ALL of his assistants recruiting by becoming friends with the parents. Join the 21st century of football success. Being friends does not mean respect is lessoned.
