Channel 4 out of Detroit says that Harbaugh is expected to sign a five year contract for $4 million a year with possible bonuses that could get him up to $8 million. This is a pretty big drop in pay, but looks to be lots of fun for the near future of “the game,” and for OSU fans. Just wanted to share as he is expected to sign soon... LOL!!!

WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let the shame and embarrassment, continue in Ann Arbor!
I would think his new, 5 yr. contract includes a lifetime supply of shovels. Gonna take a lot of digging, to get himself out of that hole....lol

No special reason other than to bust his chops.
Carry on.

It’s ok, -ichigan fans know that 4 more years of him and they will be in the same catorgories of the Vanderbilt’s of the world...irrelevant in college football... let them mourn. Thanks for the encouragement. GO BUCKS!!

Overnight Harbaugh went from the highest paid coach in the Big Ten to #8 highest paid, when the amount of his salary was cut in half. He has no chance of meeting any of the incentive payments. This has to be the most embarrassing contract renewal in the history off college football.

Don't think for once, this pay cut and low buyout clause, won't be part of the recruiting conversation, when we are seeking players that have any lingering interest in the ttun. This contract essentially is a locked and loaded gun, pressed against Harbaugh's temple...lol Athletic Director Warde Manuel must be in some fantasy world, when he's talking of Big Ten Championships and CFP Championships, with an underperforming coach and revamped (again) assistant staff. He has to be feeling quite disingenuous, by glossing over things with rhetorical bullshit.....lol Now that the ink is dry, time for Harbaugh to focus on much more important matters at hand....like where do we book this years travel adventure....IMG Academy-(check)....Italy-(check).....hmmmmm....Venezuala sounds interesting, but Pasadena makes the most sense, since these kids will never get the opportunity to see that beautiful community or the Rose Bowl, otherwise.

I personally love that they have put him on the clock. Now he produces or the clock ticks towards his demise... and all of this for a "michigan man..."
ROTFLMAO!!!

Only way an agent would allow his client to sign a contract like that is because he had no other offers

Did his agent check with any of the directional colleges in Michigan?

So after 5 more years with Harbaugh the all time record will be 58-56-5. Too bad as I was hoping we could pass MI under Harbaugh's watch.
