If Ewers early enrolls he will eventually be the starter in the ‘22 season. Much like Lawrence taking over for Kelley Bryant Kelly Bryant is the equal of CJ Stroud, Kyle McCord and Quin Ewers? So, you're telling us, if Ohio State makes it to the National Title game again this year, the starting QB will be replaced by a true Freshman?? If that's the case ALL the other QBs WILL transfer. If Day thinks that's going to happen, he better get another stud QB in 2022 class.

Miller, who looks to be the third man out, had quite a Freshman season at the best football school in Arizona. 3656 yards passing and 53 TDs, State records, as a Freshman.

Lawrence ranking was a 95 and Ewers is currently a 96. So yeah, anything short of a national title the returning qb will be on notice. One of the three will no doubt transfer next year, if not two.

My guess is still on Miller eventually transferring, especially now that the NCAA allows players to transfer once without sitting out. I could see him going back out west closer to home. McCord just seems like he’ll be passing Miller on the depth chart eventually.

Watching the spring game I think Stroud may have reasons to be nervous

Thank you for proving my point. Bryant is not the equal of Stroud or McCord and Ewers is just a single diget higher rated than McCord. IF McCord beats out Stroud, he'll have a year of experience on Ewers. Ewers will have to wait in line or transfer during his Freshman year. AGAIN a reason day better get another stud QB in the 2022 class.

Looks like McCulough will be joining rest of family at Indiana.

If it was just his dad going to Indiana I think he would’ve stayed committed but once his other two brothers also committed there, it was just too much.

This came as no surprise. Brother Deland is trasferring as well. The strong family ties, coupled with the fact that Indiana appears to be a program on the rise. (we'll see)

Jameson Williams transferring. That WR room is so deep, it sucks fo see someone leave, especially a returning starter, but plenty of talent still there.

also crazy to think about but it's possible that between Stroud/Miller/McCord we only get (1) starting season
i don't really see anyone keeping Ewers off the field, he's Matt Stafford with wheels

Henry Tootoo, linebacker from Tennessee, is reportedly serious about the Bucks. Started every game for Vols last year and could help fill a void on defense. One report says he's a lock for OSU.

Not Ohio State news but Michigan is already losing their co-defensive coordinator they just hired a few months ago. He’s going to be the head coach at Buffalo, which I don’t blame him for moving up like that but what a dumpster fire Michigan is.

Tyreke Johnson has entered the transfer portal. Along with Max Wray, wonder how we stand on the 85 limit?

They now have 86 scholarship players, but the 5 Seniors who took advantage of the NCAA's free year don't count against the 85 limit.

Quinn Ewers has all the qualities that suggest he will be a rock star in the college football world. Also, what supports that forecast is the fact that he will have premiere receivers and a premiere RB to hand off to.

The defense has one less question mark, with the addition of former USC linebacker Palaie Gaoteote IV, a five-star prospect out of high school and one of the top linebackers in the transfer portal this year.
Wouldn't be surprised to see the Buckeyes acquiring a CB through the portal. If they can land J.T. Tuimoloao, expect him to contribute meaningfully, as a freshman.
I salivate at the prospect of Jack Sawyer and J.T. becoming a deadly tandem of bookend DE's. Everybody in Columbus, is praying for that to happen.

J.T. Tuimoloau cancelled his weekend visit to Alabama. It appears as though he is down to Oregon, USC, Washington, and Ohio State.

Ohio's State House could have just made Oregon the front runner, by turning their NIL law into a political "football". The earliest Ohio State athletes will be able to do anything with their NIL is October. NIKE can start lining JTT's pockets tomorrow.

I remember reading that the House Bill can be altered by the Senate, to re-incorporate the emergency clause. Protecting our girl athletes from gross unfairness is important, but that should be it's own, separate bill.
We all need to brace ourselves for an impending 'BOOM', the likes of which we have not witnessed on the defensive side of the ball, in the modern era of Ohio State football.
Enter another 'J.T.' to star in a Buckeye uniform, except he will be referred to as JTT. The Buckeye Nation is anxiously, preparing to welcome J.T. Tuimoloau with open arms!
