Even with the injuries - Norwalk is on a roll. I look for Norwalk to take this game by double-digits.

I think Columbian will come out fired up because of the homecoming game. Hopefully they can get their explosive offense going and be sure to get the ball in the air to there best athletes with Akers, Brockington and Durham. Like everything in football it all starts up front and those linemen need to play motivated football and protect their QB.

There is a chance of rain showers tomorrow. I'm not sure how that will impact the game, as TC can't run the ball to save their lives and live more by the pass. I suppose it depends on how hard it rains. I've always felt wet conditions favor the offense as the WR's know where they are going, while the DB's have to react and possibly slip, etc. However, if it's a downpour then it really affects the passing game, as the ball becomes much harder to grip when passing/catching.
What type of offense does Norwalk run?

Hats off to the TC players and coaches for keeping the fight going. You're sitting 1-4 on the season, Norwalk is up 14-3 in the first half, you lose one of your best offensive players....but the kids didn't quit.
One just has to look at the field to see that this roster has some...well...."limitations". But the fight is there.
Unfortunately, they have Shelby, Sandusky, and Perkins (all 3 better teams) coming up next.
A 2-8 season is extremely likely. From 6-4 (which would have been another NOL Champion had the team not been so devastated by injuries) to 4-6 to 2-8. tchldad and I have been predicting this for a few seasons now, I'm not sure if they've hit rock bottom yet (I think it will be, because next year will be Year 2 under Coach Lutz, with an entire offseason of growth). However, there is life in the younger grade levels. After YEARS of seeing the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade teams go winless year after year (these are the classes that comprise last year's team, this year's team, and next year's team), those younger level teams are starting to compete again, at least winning as much as they're losing, if not winning a bit more than that.
