Reports coming out that LSU has fired Les. Look for Ohio State to go fishing on some of LSU 4th ranked recruiting class. Commits and players already expressing there dislike.

Gonna have a reverberating effect on the program, short and long term.

Urban Meyer recruited Dylan Moses in the past, expect him to ramp it up with the nations #1 LB from IMG Academy, with the sudden departure of Les Miles. With Baron Browning, the #2 LB in the country expected to commit to the Buckeyes, how insane would it be to somehow convince Moses to join his buddies at IMG heading to Columbus.

I wouldn't think that it would take much. Just replay for him last year's NFL draft.

Mich expected to chase Miles and Cameron for possible coaching position. That would be huge for them but I don't see it happening.

I only have one question..... Can we get some more B1G teams to play them this season and beat that *** a little more. Nothing better than seeing an upper tier SEC team dismantling.... Except maybe watching michigan stinking it up the last ten years or so.... So if Harbaugh doesn't bring Michigan to the promised land, will they go chasing after Les again??? LOL!!!
This is why I love college football!!!

I'm sorry I should have said Jim and Mich. Jim was asked about the news today and said he hopes to make contact with Miles in a few days. I imagine Miles would look to be a HC and nothing less.

Idk, he likes Houston and I think he is the kinda guy that what's to take them to the next level. He has without questioned raised that program to a championship caliaber team. But money talks and so does opportunity.

I would be a bit surprised if Tom Herman leaves Houston prematurely. His legacy at Houston has not been completed yet. A lot of exciting things happening with that program at the present time and I think he would want to ride on that bus. Houston will undoubtedly be joining the Big Eight Conference and another page will be turned in this amazing transformation. Tom Herman fully understands that he holds all the cards and will have the job of his choosing, if and when he decides his mission is complete at the University of Houston.

Les Miles won a National Title and was Runner-up once in the BCS era at LSU. He has the highest winning % in LSU history. There are TWO people in the country at fault for the firing of Miles. Lou Saban and Urban Meyer. If they weren't as successful as they have been, Miles could make an argument for being as good as any head coach in the country.
LSU's first choice as the new head coach? Urban Meyer. They think they have more to offer than Ohio State. No one can talk to Urban about anything other than his team at this time of the year. LSU plans on contacting Urban's "people".
IMO no "name" coach, what LSU is looking for, will go near the LSU job. THE state school, in the state with the most financial difficulties in the country must make a lot of cuts as state funding is being cut.

Very good thoughts. I too was thinking the dire financial climate surrounding the state of Louisiana, on the brink of brankruptcy, has forced state lawmakers to make bold and unpopular moves in trimming expenditures, namely funds going to the state universities. Presumably, LSU's focus is going to be on acquiring an offensive guru. That fact, makes me breathe a bit slower, as I don't want the Buckeyes to lose Greg Schiano, of all people.

Ohio State WILL lose Schiano. All Urban asks for from his assistants is 2 years. Then he promises to help them all he can, if they seek to move on and move up.
