Pleasant at River Valley
Galion at Shelby
Marion Harding at Mansfield Madison
On to week 7 we go already. Not sure where the season has gone. Thoughts on these games.

To be honest the only real game of interest here is Shelby and Galion. I like Shelby to win this game in a similar fashion of something like 42-21
This might be the game to go to this week.
CF should handle Ontario with ease
River Valley on offense will be too much for pleasant and win that one by a similar score I predicted for the Shelby game.
MH can name their score most likely against the lowly Rams

Clear Fork wins big.
Harding wins big.
Shelby wins big.
Pleasant wins in a tight game. Both teams aren’t good.

Shelby 7 Galion 0 after 1. Shelby scored on a botched onside kick to start the game.

Shelby 13 Galion 0 at halftime. Galion’s offense struggling to move the ball. The sophomore quarterback went down for a series and the freshman came in. Shelby was able to move the ball but has so far only finished one drive. Shelby is going to win this but I’ve been impressed with Galion’s ability to hang in there against a superior opponent.

RV 49-14 over Pleasant. It is absolutely hideous at Pleasant. Not sure what those guys are doing. I am done watching it.

Shelby 37 Galion 7 final. This one pretty much turned out the way I thought it would. Shelby has a solid team and many more playmakers than what Galion does. Galion hung in tough through much of the 3rd quarter, but Shelby became too much to hang in with. Galion’s offense continues to struggle moving the ball at times and finishing drives. And if they get behind the chains, forget it. The receivers really struggled tonight. Lots of drops. An interesting side note. The only MOAC team to beat Shelby since they joined is Galion doing so in 2019. The only team standing in their way is Clear Fork and it should be an interesting game come week 10. |
