I'll admit, game concerns me due to 28 Spartan Seniors and Ross won't outathlete these guys. Plus, there's a concern looking forward to Central Catholic. However, I'm thinking Ross, in a nailbiter

Whitmer really exposed Lima last night in ways that SJJ simply didn't or couldn't. The Whitmer offensive line really rolled up the Lima front, three guys were done for the night including their sophomore middle linebacker. Kids heal quickly but two of them had lower leg injuries where they could not put any pressure on the injured leg. Whitmer ran at will and was up 21-0 early in the second quarter. The zone cutback and buck sweep-type run was usually out whenever they ran it. The defensive line play was pretty good as well. Lima actually showed some semblance of a passing concept at times but the QB takes some iffy chances that odds are will catch up to him some time soon.
If Lima is able to generate a running game at all against Ross I don't see 42-6 again. They didn't go Man Free against Whitmer like they did against SJJ because Whitmer toasted them in man coverage a couple of times early. Ross wins this one regardless of whether Lima gets some offense going or not.

Ross will be playing with heavy hearts. A Coach, who's been a fixture in lower Grades, recently passed due to complications from COVID.
