IM taking in AL:Tampa vs HOUSTON. tampa 1st in AL PITCHING ERA at 3.70 but 4th overall behind DODGERS 3.01 ERA,Giants at 3.24 and Milwaukee 3.48. but milwaukee is fading very fast the last 2 weeks vs st.louis and this weekend at dodgers.
in the national league the CARDINALS VS DODGERS is very intriging because the way the CARDS played the last time against Dodgers plus the way st.louis finish the season. with an injury to KERSHAW, BUEHLER will start for the dodgers vs WAINWRIGHT.i hate dodgers and im pulling for st.louis to face the giants
the way THE BREWERS have finished especially against the Dodgers this weekend, the brewers will be a quick out because i see the Braves getting to the Brewers early and often so they cant bring in HADER in relief.
so i like SF VS BRAVES IN NLCS with GIANTS going into world series vs TAMPA BAY with the GIANTS winning it all!!!

It's a crime that that the Dodgers-106 wins (if they win the play-in) have to play the Giants-107 wins in the 1st round. MLB should change the seeding to best record like the NBA.

As it should be. It’s going to be crazy in The City tonight: Giants v. Dodgers and the Dubs hosting the Lakers in a pre-season game at the Chase Center, a short walk from Oracle Park. They share parking spots so you’d better have a reservation or spend a fortune at a private lot. I use the UCSF Medical Center garage. To add to the mayhem, it’s Fleet Week which is a huge draw. Union Square, the Marina District and the Embarcadero will be electric.

We’re used to being the dogs v. these guys. Up here, we call Buehler “tight pants.” It’s not a compliment. You might want to remember Logan Webb’s name, NorCal boy from Rocklin, Ca. He’s been our best pitcher since June..
oh, and the Dubs beat the LeBron’s.

The Dodgers had it all working last night. no pun intended, but Urias took offense when Pollock was intentionally walked

Shutout for 2nd time in 3 games. If you told me Dodgers would strikeout 14, give up 1 run, and still lost? First Dodger loss in a Scherzer start and 1st loss at home since early September
Meanwhile, former Dodgers Joc Pederson and Kike' Hernandez did their thing yesterday.

This is interesting; Knebel will start instead of Urias. Let the Chess Match begin

Yep. The Giants like to go with the “line change” during the course of the game. With Urias they planned to start 8 right handed hitters then bring in the left handed bats against the bull pen. Roberts is trying to disrupt that. Will Kapler go the alternating lefties and righties? We’ll see.

Tonight's game wasn't for the faint of heart. The whole series wasn't.
They may have to readjust how seeding goes moving forward. Too soon for 107- win to be eliminated. But, so happy Dodgers moving ahead.

I give Kapler a lot of credit; showed much class in last night's Presser

Kapler has won a once skeptical fan base over as has Farhan Zaidi, the President of Baseball Operations. I think there is a real chance that Posey retires this off season. I’m basing this on his tone when questioned about the future. I’d really like to see Buster and Belt inked to generous one year contracts. Crawford is already locked up for 2. The farm system is loaded so the future looks good.
And to think that, In May, ESPN Talking heads were saying that the new best rivalry was the Padres and Dodgers. The Giants and Dodgers have been at each others’ throats for 130 years. The rivalry isn’t going away soon. It’s interesting that one of the clinchers for both clubs moving west in ‘58 was the bitterness of the Rams/49 ers rivalry which began in ‘46 when the Rams moved from Cleveland and the Niners were established.
Another little known fact is that Giants owner, Horace Stoneham originally planned to move the team to Minneapolis based on the success of the Braves move from Boston to Milwaukee. Dodgers owner, Walter O’Malley confided to Stoneham that he planned to move his team to LA and encouraged Stoneham to look into San Francisco.

Sure wish Fox would put any college football game instead of the Red Socks and Astros that makes me nauseated.
