If Harding kills themselves with mistakes like they did in the first half Friday night there is no way that they will win this game.

If Harding limits turnovers/penalties they win. They have the speed to do so.

35-20 Jonathan Alder. I don't see that there's anyway Harding can win this game. JA just seems to step it up in big games.

That would be more points then they've given up all year, even to Lima. I couldn't see them giving up that much. Close game unless they beat themselves up. Gotta stop Pugh as well.

Game of the week in the MOAC. I'll be there. Curious to see if Harding can avoid the turnovers and how well they can stop Pugh. Also, can Alder match up with Harding's speed? We'll see.

We'll see. they did pretty well last week(knock on wood) with only one fumble but it did lead to the second score for Galion... im interested to see how Harding does if it comes down to a last min drive or end of game situation. they've had 3 games(all losses)where they had a chance to win all inside the 30(two of them inside the 10) where they made mistakes or couldnt find offense... place should be packed as its homecoming as well!

I voted for Alder but I'm a homer obviously. Could see this game go either way.
Last year, Harding moved the ball pretty well on our defense in the 1st half, Alder played much better on both sides of the ball in the 2nd half. The difference was the turnover battle, believe they had 4 picks and Alders ability to shut down the run.
I hope they play more aggressive this week on defense, they dropped a lot into coverage and didn't put on much of a pass rush until they needed to at the end. BV QB had a ton of time to find open guys.
Win or lose this week and last week are the type of teams that Alder needs to play that have balanced offenses and good defenses to prepare for the playoffs.

I think Harding will score some points on them but ultimately JA should win.
Gt's score prediction is probably fairly accurate in my opinion.

Harding has speed. Alder is big & physical. Whichever team can impose their will on the other will come out victorious.

I watched Harding last week. They have some team speed. I mean in comparison to us, Fairbanks, and NU they look fast. If they have more team speed than BV it's not that much. They certainly couldn't run with our team from last season. If you think you can beat a team like JA with team speed and not X's and O's and execution then you are delusional. If Harding continues to make the silly mistakes that they made against us this game won't be that close.

That's the thing, Harding has been good with penalties all year. And they have the speed but also a defense that is very strong. I'm predicting a low scoring affair. Could go either way depending on who shows up. If Harding maintains pugh they could win. They did a decent job against one of the best running back in the state in walker from Lima. Should be a game for the ages.

A friend of mine brought some interesting JA stats to my attention regarding last years match up between JA and Harding.
* Alder was down at halftime 6-14. * Alder had 76 yards rushing on 30 carries for the game (2.5 yards/carry) * Alder had 210 yards passing * Alder came back and won 35-14
I expect an exciting night of Football.
Good Luck to both teams and for each player to be injury free.
GO ALDER!

I'll guess Alder by single digits since it is at Harding.

I believe Harding turned the ball over at least 4 times last year. I know #25 had 4 ints, not sure if there were any others. looking forward to a close/clean game.

From what I remember, Harding was trying to mount a comeback, but forced a few throws. Turn overs will kill a teams chances for a victory. Also looking forward to a close and clean game.

Should be a great game tonight.
#25 Andrew Koenig, is probably out tonight. Going to miss his playmaking ability for this game. He had a huge game last year on both sides of the ball.
We will need some answers if they can stop Pugh on offense. Defense, although they gave up 20pts last week, had some big stops on 4th down's last week. Hope we are a little more aggressive in our defensive approach this week, another solid QB that can make plays when things break down, along with some good backs and receivers.

Pugh and dye that was a 2 man wrecking crew they're great players. Harding coulda kept it single digits but turnovers. Onto pleasant where it'll be another good game but Harding will be favored. Injuries plagued Harding as well. Sayre looked great out there tho. Defense couldn't stop the run tho. Pugh is no joke I'm suprised he is only a 3 star.

35-20 Jonathan Alder. I don't see that there's anyway Harding can win this game. JA just seems to step it up in big games. I damn near predicted the score. I told you Harding was over-rated. Turnovers...penalty..team speed...they are over-rated "." Jonathan Alder is always in a league by themselves. I knew if we could tie a team (Harding) at half last week, (I don't care that they had a ton of penalties.) they would be no match for Alder. At least they scored some points, we couldn't even do that against River Valley. We are one bad team. I feel sorry for our boys...and our fans. The fans started leaving at the start of the 4th quarter that's bad.

You'd have to be there to understand, self destruction at its finest. Harding gave up 21 points off turnovers when they was driving. Shoulda been single digit game. Penalties wasn't bad. Couldn't stop Pugh. Harding will finish 2nd in moac which is a let down for them. They'll beat pleasant next week I'm sure of. Pleasant has a good defense about it.

And hardings team speed isn't overrated lol. Douglas left JA and Pugh included in the dust on a 60 yard Td in the beginning. They just never got to out side again and fumbled when did.
