This could be the week Sandusky loses their quest for a perfect season.
But, it's homecoming and Pace is being honored. I'll take Sandusky in a close one.

I think Sandusky wins but I'm expecting a very close game. Lorain is one of the few teams on the schedule that can match Sandusky athletically/physically.

Very questionable play calling up 15 in the 4th. Also a terrible job of getting plays in from the sidelines in critical spots. A delay of game really haulted a key drive. That shouldn't be happening in week 7.

Franklin is a good coach but not a good head coach and his record supports that. He got lucky against Bellevue and his passing ego gets in the way of basic football at times. He is to worried about statistics. Sandusky made no adjustments offensively and should have been running between the tackles tonight. Lorain was fast but I can honestly say they were not the better team, however they got the win. Kick the extra point Franklin, you must have talked to bellevues coach.

I don't think Franklin was at fault here. Should he kicked the field goal probably, but the bigger question is that should the defense stopped Lorain one of the three drives in the 4th that they scored on? Everyone is so quick to blame the Head Coach I never understood that?

I do agree that he didn't control the lack of defense production in the 4th but he should have kick the field goal. Also, he took a delay of game penalty after a first down measurement which is ridiculous, especially when they failed to convert by 1 yard on 4th down. However, ultimately it comes down to the players but I think Franklin over the years has been out coached in so many contests. His time management skills are terrible.

Well you can probably look at every high school coach and say that they have mismanaged the game in some way at some point. I bet there is not one coach (If they are honest with themselves) would say that. But my argument is a lot of people in the stands, on this forum, in the street, always criticize the coach, players, clock manager, refs, etc. We must remember these are high school kids and these coaches put in a ton of time and money. Trust me I want my team to win every time out and I'm sure I am a little bit over the top with my passion for High School Football from time to time, but I'm thankful that we have a people like Mike Franklin and all the other coaches teaching our kids about the game and so many other things. I would suggest if any one is so upset about the way someone is coaching then sign up take the required background checks and classes put in the time and get out there and coach. We live in a great area for high school football and I know for a fact that they are always looking for coaches.

No dog in fight here but the 'if you think the coach sucks you should apply for the job' argument is a tired one. People are allowed, especially here of all places, to politely question coaching decisions and strategies.
