Willard stops Ontarios run and gets things going again on offense and wins a tight game. Low scoring defensive football game

I can agree but there was someone on this site that pointed out the value of those projections.

real question is will there be any animosity between coaching staffs or etc? Some personal history here?

How many current Willard coaches were around when Hawkins left?

No he is not. It was last week. You said "there was someone on this site" as opposed to "there is someone on this site". Thus, it sounded like you were referring to a MUCH larger personality than the comparative nobody.

Ontario is on a mission to win this game tomorrow. I believe with the balanced attack of the running game with passing the Warriors will come out on top. Bad Blood between coaches that has nothing to do with the dislike of Willard and the obnoxious fans they bring with them. This will be a blow out as Ontario may not win another NOL game but they will put the Hammer down on Willard.
56-0 Warriors

I think Ontario is the clear favorite. Hoping for an unexpected outcome though.

Allow me to tell you what Coach Hawkins says about this game and this year. "The major goal for Ontario this year is not wins and losses, but getting better each week. We had gotten better from week 1 thru week 4, but took a couple of steps back against Norwalk. When building a program you don't necessarily worry about who you play, you worry about getting better that week. Let me apologize to Willard fans and athletes. What was said above is the opinion of one neophyte fan who has a "hammer" between his ears and is worse than any Willard fan. Myself and MANY Ontario fans will miss the contests with Willard that will end with the beginning of the NEW SBC.

Calpreps has Ontario winning by 4 TDs. Willard fans are unconcerned w calpreps Scarlet, will the Flashes go 1-9 with their only win being to a team that may go 2-8, 3-7? Where does this program go? What is their future after graduating many of their limited athletic pool after this season? I heard nothing short of great things from this new coach before the season started but heading into week 7, it looks like another 1 win season. I know some have said that everyone has to give him a few years and I think that would be justified even if Willard only won 1 game this season, however, the fans and those of us that care about Willard wanted to see Willard somewhat IN the games they lost. So far we beat Margaretta and then have for 5 weeks straight been beat like a redheaded stepchild. Please, this CONcerned fan needs answers.

Read the other Willard threads. Discussions, with the answers you seek were given.

I did do a quick check on other threads. A couple common themes, a parent or two with unrealistic expectations and excuses. I heard the injury excuse a few times and you know, every team suffers injuries and many have had lower numbers for years. Maybe it goes back to my one post on cross-fit. Maybe someone should have looked into the uncanny amount of injuries CF produces. Ask any orthopedic Dr. with a a brain. CF has been like hitting the lottery as an orthopedic surgeon. We have a program known to cause high amounts of injury incorporated into the weight room without a blink of an eye or anyone doing any research. Is there a pulse within the BOE that actually cares?

The weight room problem for the football team has been addressed and it will be a whole new team next year! As far as next man up willard does not have that. Just because more kids are out on the team does not mean that more of them are ready to play on Friday nights. People will see a whole different level from willard next year in year 2 of the offense. You don't go from running the triple option for 4 years to being able to run the spread perfectly. Year 2 will be a different year for the flashes

Willard scored when it was 20-0 there was no subs on the field your Statement is completely false. 20-8 with 6 minutes to go and Ontario scored twice late. Get your facts correct if you are gonna talk bad about a program

Yes the small guys with clean shirts in the secondary were definitely subs. One was not really a sub, but it was not his regular position.

Trey Jordan #5 played the entire game even at the end. #8 the entire game. The only subs were on the front 6 the back 5 played the whole game. Obviously you were watching a different game
