Bringing back an old term from NOSF....."Ubaldtire" made quite an appearance last night for the O's, giving up 2 singles and a walkoff homer in the 11th inning of the AL Wild card game
So now we have a rematch between Texas and Toronto in the other ALDS, which could be very interesting.

Toronto looking good tho. No denying their talent, on both sides of the ball.
Love to see LuCroy go out haha.

Just nabbed tix to all 4 alcs games (if needed)
Hopefully at least the first 2 are.
Game 1 of the ALDS was close to the best atmosphere I've seen there and I've been to a ton of postseason games. I do think the game 3 we won v Bos in the series we blew 3-1 was a bit better.

Good deal. We need to take advantage of the mis play to Santana.

So in this year's division series round we had the 2 teams with the longest World Series droughts knock out the 2 teams who have won 3 in this century, while 2 teams who have never won a World Series were knocked out by teams who haven't won it since the late 80's or early 90's.
Kind of amazing that of the final 4 teams, the Indians have the most recent World Series appearance. This World Series is guaranteed to matchup 2 teams making their first appearance in the 21st century, with the winner getting their first title since the start of the wild card era.

That one killed me. Joe Carter did it all for Toronto. Good friends were Canadians. Husband was in Mansfield running a company for United Technologies. We're talking yelling screaming fans. I had to go to World Series parties and suffer in the midst of a group, instead of alone at home.
