Rather surprised that someone hasn't started a thread about this unfolding trajedy. It appears that a great many of the Russian troops are not happy to be involved in this assault on mankind. Reports that the 40 mile long supply line heading into Kiev have punctured their fuel tanks and are sitting, out of fuel. Long story short, they don't wish to participate in these war crimes.
Hoping to open a good discussion of everyone's views and hoping to keep the political aspect to a minimum.

Been too busy building my bomb shelter in the basement.
Russia is a nuclear power waging a total war strategy against another sovereign nation's military AND CIVILIAN population The last time this was seen was in WORLD WAR II. It's not like when the USA was in Korea, Vietnam, or the Middle East wars. We went to great lengths to prevent as many civilian casualties as possible, at the expense of some of our military lives.
If Putin has the attitude that he will not lose, no matter what, even if the west helps Ukraine fight, we could all be in trouble. A very, very, dangerous situation for the entire world. The best thing would be for Putin to be taken down from within, but that I don't know how likely that would be.

A former Russian oligarch said those closest to Putin will never tell him anything he doesn't want to hear, in fear they would be killed. It is MUCH more likely that those in his inner circle would assassinate or kidnap and "disappear" him.

Putin has revealed he has no parameters, with the recent missile attack on the Air Base in Poland, where NATO conducts training exercises.
