N10 match ups 9/23/ 22:
Seneca East (3-2) at Buckeye Central (3-2) - BC seems to be improved this year and can be dangerous offensively. They will have to contain SE's QB who is having a good season so far to win. SE has the size to match BC along the line, I'll take SE in this one.
Wynford (0-5) at Bucyrus (1-4) - Both teams not having the season they thought they would. Wynford has lost 2 games by a close score to a couple of good teams. Bucyrus hasn't done much since week 1. Bucyrus has an experienced QB, but I think the Royals will grind this one out in the trenches.
Carey (5-0) at Colonel Crawford (5-0) - Huge game with the N10 and a boatload of Harbins on the line for the winner. CC has been playing well and taking care of business so far. Carey has shown the same power as their squad from last year did. Conventional wisdom says to go with the State Champs until some one beats them. Guess I don't have any of that, I'll go with CC in an emotional win at home.
Upper Sandusky (2-3) at Mohawk (2-3) - Two 2-3 teams with explosive potential. This game could go either way, I'll go with Mohawk at home.

Could this be the year that Bucyrus finally beats Wynford? It has t happened since 1997, but the gap appears to be closing. I know Wynford has lost to some good teams, but could the stars finally be aligned for Bucyrus to pull of the upset?

I know Wynford has lost to some good teams, but could the stars finally be aligned for Bucyrus to pull of the upset? I would say no, but then again the Browns blew a 2 touchdown lead in the final 2 min so anything is possible. I’d go Wynford 26 Bucyrus 22.

Week 7 N10 match ups Friday, September 30
Seneca East(4-2) at Bucyrus(1-5) - This could be an interesting game. Both teams can move the ball through the air, while their defenses have been suspect to good offensive teams. I think SE's running game is better, and will win the game for them.
Wynford(1-5) at Buckeye Central(3-3) - Another interesting game this week. Wynford finally got their running game going a little, and a win last week. BC has played well at times and shown the ability to move the ball. However, I think the Royal's defense will prevail in this one.
Upper Sandusky(2-4) at Colonel Crawford(5-1)- Upper can throw the ball, and this might be a competitive game, depending on how well CC recovers from a tough loss. I'll go with CC at home.
Carey(6-0) at Mohawk(3-3) - Mohawk has some nice skill position players, but so does Carey. No one in the N10 can match up with Carey's size along the lines. They will eventually wear the Warriors down and win easily.

I have a feeling that Upper will be getting frustrations taken out on them.

Wow. Did not see that coming. Anyone provide details on how the game went? Short story: CC held the lead through 3 quarters, but self inflicted wounds throughout, prevented them from putting the game out of reach. CC's defense couldn't stop the league's leading pass offense from scoring twice in the fourth quarter to send game into OT. Longer story: crawfordcountynow.com/sports/upper-sandusky-shocks-colonel-crawford/Elsewhere in the N10: Seneca East 38, Bucyrus 17 Wynford 35, Buckeye Central 15 Upper Sandusky 30, Colonel Crawford 29 (OT) Carey 48, Mohawk 0

Upper took advantage and drove down to get the game-tying TD and 2-point conversion with 11 seconds left in regulation. CC got the ball 1st in OT and scored on their very 1st play. Upper scored on 4th down in the OT, went for two and the win, and converted. Great finish.

N10 week 8 games, Friday, October 7
Bucyrus(1-6) at Carey(7-0) - Carey will continue to roll toward a sweep of the regular season table again. They can name their score in this game.
Mohawk(3-4) at Seneca East(5-2) - Game of the week in the N10. Tied at 3-1, this game will be for 2nd place in the N10. Huge rivalry between former MAL neighbors, I would expect a close game, with the one that makes the least mistakes winning. I'll go with SE at home.
Colonel Crawford(5-2) at Wynford(2-5) - CC found out last week that records and past performances don't win games. Upper exposed some weaknesses that CC will need to correct if they want to win this game. Wynford, on the other hand, seems to be on the rise, after losing some close games early in the season. They are better than their record. I think the Royals will want to make a statement in this cross county rivalry. I rate this game as a toss up.
Buckeye Central(3-4) at Upper Sandusky(3-4) - After winning their first 3 games, BC has dropped 4 in a row league games. Upper has a lot of weapons and is another team that is better than their record. They should win this game easily.

N10 games Friday, October 14
Bucyrus(1-7) at Buckeye Central(3-5) - No league wins for either team, so it's a battle for the basement in the N10. Could go either way, but I'll take BC at home. Mohawk(3-5) at Colonel Crawford(6-2) - CC got back on track last week, and clinched a playoff spot. They are playing for a possible 1st round home game if they win out, so they will be motivated by that in this game. Mohawk is probably smarting from a controversial loss, and needs this game to have any chance for a playoff spot. Mohawk has been a scrappy team this year, but if CC plays like they can, they should win this game. Upper Sandusky(4-4) at Carey(8-0) - Upper's passing game has shined this year, but it won't be enough against Carey. The Blue Devils will continue their march toward another regional title or beyond.
Wynford(2-6) at Seneca East(6-2) - SE, coming off a big win last week, has also clinched a playoff spot and will look to improve their seeding. Wynford's woes will continue. SE wins another at home.

Week 10 N10 games, 10-21-22
Buckeye Central(3-6) at Colonel Crawford(7-2) - BC is on a 6 game losing skid. CC is trying to gain a likely 1st round home game in the playoffs. They will win this game handily.
Seneca East(7-2) at Carey(9-0) - SE has already locked up a spot in the playoffs. A win could greatly improve their seeding and give them a share of the N10 title, but I don't think it will happen. After a scare last week by Upper, Carey will get down to business in this game, win the N10 outright, and lock up the top spot in region 22.
Bucyrus(2-7) at Mohawk(3-6) - The injury bug has hit Mohawk. If they don't get some of those players back, Bucyrus who played well in a win last week, could upset them. I'll go with the Redmen over the Warriors in a close game.
Wynford(2-7) at Upper Sandusky(4-5) - Upper appears to be peaking at the right time and needs to win this game to secure a playoff spot. I think they will do so easily.

Eagles avenge their 7-3 loss at home to Carey, and get it done at Carey 21-14, knocking the Blue Devils out of the playoffs.
