Streaks should bounce back from the tough loss vs. Lorain and get back into the win column. Staying in that 2 or 3 slot in the region is key for them come playoff time.

Looking forward to seeing a very good Sandusky team play tonight. I know the Streaks are fast and athletic, but I am guessing not anymore than the 2011 team that my son's Columbian team played twice that year. Does anyone have a feel on how they compare to a few years ago when they had receivers Tristen Jeffries/Dameyion Smith, RB Marquis Winston, QB Lucas Poggiali, and lineman Mike Brown? Now that was a talented team and us TC fans were proud to have beaten them in the playoffs and only lost to them by a missed extra point in the regular season.

Congrats to Sandusky on a highly probable NOL Championship in the final year of the league. I suppose it's fitting that the team that wins the league in its final year is not one of the blueboods in TC, Bellevue, or Shelby....the 3 teams who have run away with the league through the years.
Last night's game just again demonstrated how far TC has fallen. Sandusky is LOADED with speed, athleticsm, and playmakers. Having said that, TC always was capable of handling that (either in winning the game, or losing a very competitive game).
The discrepency in ability on the field last night was glaring.
Thankfully for TC, it looks like the lower levels will provide Coach Lutz with the chance to right the ship and put the Tornadoes in position to compete for league championships again. I think next year will be a struggle again, but after that I look (hope) for things to start trending back up.

I see a lot of positive from the freshmen team. Even though they couldn't stop Sandusky's #4 the other night, they played them tough. We lost both starting running backs and the backup QB/starting WR, and played with that team. None of our player play varsity, as does #4, so I think we can compete with them. (Also heard #4 probably will never play varsity, cause of grades). Hope he can get it straight, cause this kid is a complete stud. Probably would start for tc today. Hopefully Lutz can get these kids to buy into his system, and get it together!
