On to week 8 and homecoming week for the Tigers. The Fairbanks Panthers come to town for a fourth and final meeting. Galion has won the 3 previous meetings. Galion lost 35-3 at River Valley last week and Fairbanks lost at North Union 35-31. Thoughts on this one....

Yup I project them by 10 or more. Kyle warner can have a big game against a weak defense.

Galion's last chance for a win in my opinion but there's tons of reasons why it could be more of the same for Galion.
I think Fairbanks is the favorite because of how they've performed in their losses vs how Galion has performed in their losses.

i thought when we played Galion the big weakness for them was the pass defense so i guess it could be double digits im not sure

Warner threw for almost 450 yards and 3 tds while rushing for 1 against NU. Fairbanks is a much improved team, unfortunately they are not up to the level of the teams in the MOAC. It should be a good game and really could go either way.

Fairbanks has to be a heavy favorite. It's our Homecoming game, but I've lost faith in our team. I know we have the play makers to score points, but we just can't seem to put it together. At this point honestly, I think I'd rather face a passing team than a team that does a lot of running. We can not tackle, so maybe we would have a better chance against a team like that...Fairbanks. So we will see how it goes. I honestly have to pick Fairbanks, just because they are putting up the points, and we aren't.

We have a young team more or less. There were bound to be some growing pains this season with a first time head coach and 1 returning letterman on either line. I was hoping that our skill position players would be able to step up and carry us through the early part of our schedule with the passing game. Unfortunately, they didn't mature as I had hoped. Hopefully, with the successes our jv and frosh teams are enjoying along coupled with a full off season to implement his program we should see a step forward next season. I mean seriously, how hard is it to improve on 1-9?

You guys will be better. Harding loses 20 seniors I think. So it'll be tough. But they return some good juniors and sophomores. I'll look for a 5-5 4-6 year from them next year.

Is It Crazy to have Homecoming 8 weeks into the Season. I man the Buckeyes have a huge game and the Tribe are also playing while these kids are eating dinner and not dancing at the dance. Tigers will rebound and get that win for the Homecoming Queen.
Tigers 24 Fairbanks 21
Last Second Field Goal

Well they had a good bonfire just now. I predict you will see the QB start to run a little more tomorrow night AND not take those crazy sacks.............I'm........hoping. LOL

Fairbanks defense is weak. Should be able to put up some points.

My thoughts exactly. It wasn't anywhere near pretty, but at this point a win is a win. I didn't think Galion had this in them so I'm pleased to stand corrected!

WE ! YES! Our run game is really looking better. I know it was Fairbanks, but we started running a lot better in the second half of River Valley too. Man! I got real worried at the end. I can't believe how bad Fairbanks are at 2 point conversion. Man! They could walk right down the field on you most of the times, but they struggle when the field tightenS up.

Which made me wonder, why didnt we go for a field goal to go up by 12 when it was 28-19?
