This will be tough but not impossible. They will have to score more runs than the Rays series that's for sure

The Guardians left 7 runners in scoring position on base. That’s what cost them this game. This team will need to get the clutch hits in order to have any shot to win because they don’t hit many HRs.

I would have liked to see the young guy Arias get a chance at 1B over Naylor. Naylor has been atrocious against LHP.

Really happy you aren't our manager. I will trust Francona.

Baylor came through with a huge double in the top of the 10th. Guardians got it going when they absolutely had to.

Looking like a long rain delay tonight Might just be the baseball gods “cough cough, MLB” saying they don’t want a mid-market team in the ALCS. Not sure why this delay is going on. They could have started this game on time, but some how have drawn it out….. something stinks to me!

Had a bullpen game lined up for both teams which would be a major advantage for Cleveland. Boone wanted this game called . He got his wish .

Well the fix is in! Can our guys pull this one out! My money says no, but my heart says yes! Agree that MLB and the TV gods that run baseball do not want Cleveland to win. Theyve already lost their big TV market teams in the Mets and Dodgers, so they have to have the Yankees in at least the ALCS. Think it could be very ugly this afternoon, but hoping and praying that Cleveland can somehow pull it off.

One other tidbit -- Bob (really my hair is still long and naturally dark brown even at over age 70 and thats not a comb-over) Costas on Jose Ramirez......"Jose Ramirez is one of the great hitters in the game today but in truth he is actually really lucky." That is another reason why I hate New York and everyone associated with it. These azzes have no idea about baseball or Cleveland especially considering the great Aaron Judge plays in a bandbox stadium and is bolstered all around him by good hitters while Jose plays essentially with a minor league team behind him. These bozos are the reason baseball purists hate MLB and teams like the Yankees.

Sucks they didn’t get it done but this team was a joy to watch! The youngest team in baseball with a top 3 farm system will only get better via trade or internally. Looking forward to the years to come.

Would costa have been so ignorant if he knew Jose played the 2nd half of the season with a hand that will be operated on next week?

The 2 rain outs meant NY could use their #1 and #2 starters twice each. The Guards only used their #1 and #2 once each.

I assume it was about a specific hit by Jose. Maybe the 9th inning infield hit in game 3?
