I was wondering the same thing. My wife and I watched the entire series and didn't remember it. I saw it on Twitter and read it to her and asked to you remember Costas saying this quote? She said "Nope" and neither do I. I thought Costas was for the most part pretty good. You have to remember you aren't listening to Tom Hamilton,Jimmy Donnovan or Joe Tait here. I love those guys because they are biased towards MY team.I thought Costas was as unbiased as he could be. I told my buddy that I'm sure Yankee fans thought he sucked the Indians D*** the 2 games we won. People have a tendency to hear announcers through "rose colored ears" so to speak.

One other tidbit -- Bob (really my hair is still long and naturally dark brown even at over age 70 and thats not a comb-over) Costas on Jose Ramirez......"Jose Ramirez is one of the great hitters in the game today but in truth he is actually really lucky." That is another reason why I hate New York and everyone associated with it. These azzes have no idea about baseball or Cleveland especially considering the great Aaron Judge plays in a bandbox stadium and is bolstered all around him by good hitters while Jose plays essentially with a minor league team behind him. These bozos are the reason baseball purists hate MLB and teams like the Yankees. Do you know the context of this quote? I watched most of the series and can't remember it. I assume it was about a specific hit by Jose. Maybe the 9th inning infield hit in game 3? Not certain but twitter lit up with the comment at the end of Game 3.

THE reason I DO NOT have anything to do with twitter. It is FAR less reliable than what my wife says.

I read this about the Yankees. They will have 10 free agents to sign or let go before next season, one of which is Judge. Who they will have to pay more than anyone in the history of baseball. They had more of a must win now than the youngest team in baseball
