The Bengals took a big hit on defense, with DE Trey Hendrickson and CB Mike Hilton sitting this one out. Rookie Dax Hill will be replacing Hilton, who is the Bengals shutdown corner. CB Jalen Davis is doubtful.
On the offensive side of the ball, WR's Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins and Trent Taylor are questionable. TE Hayden Hurst is out and Joe Burrow has an issue with his right elbow.
I think we can run effectively against the Tampa defense, so expect a strong game from Samaje Perine and Joe Mixon.

WOW!!! The Browns must have really beat 'em up last week. No doubt, it was a physical game and the Bengals lost another CB in the Bucs game in Taylor-Britt, suspect a collar bone, but hoping it's less serious.

No matter who’s on the field playing, these guys keep moving forward. Down 17-0 and just made a remarkable turnaround. The defense was the story and numerous guys made big plays that led to the win. Another big game next week at New England.

Zach Taylor and his staff, like many games previous, made some great half-time adjustments and came out and dominated the Buccaneers 3rd and 4th quarter. They did this with rookie cornerbacks, facing the GOAT.

After Sunday's 34-23 comeback road win over Tampa Bay, Bengals cornerback Eli Apple and defensive tackle B.J. Hill each took jabs at Brady on their way to the locker room at Raymond James Stadium.
"The future's now old man," Apple said.
"We're fairly tough on defense," Hill added. "Remember that, alright?"
I found Eli's comment innapropriate and disrespectful. Hill's comment was on the mark. Sometimes players run their mouths, wihout thinking. Anything you say, can become chalkboard material at some point in the future.
Stay classy, guys!

Interestingly, my grandson who's a Student Assistant for Baldwin Wallace's basketball team, told me a player in one of their games was T'd up for doing the long time infamous index finger to the lips, telling the team/crowd to shhhush. Apparently in their league there's a directive to officials that work their games to crack down on taunting. IMO a good idea, at all levels. A lot of it was never intended to be a part of celebrating good plays in college or professional contests.

It's always a little heartwarming to see two teams mingling with conversation and hugs postgame, like we saw in Raymond James stadium. Brady and Joe Cool have a mutual respect with one another and were seen shaking hands and having a short conversation afterwards, as well. Zach Taylor continues the locker room spirit, with the traditional awarding of game balls afterwards. The Bengals are the ultimate example of team unity and mutual love among teamates.

If there’s one thing Eli Apple never does, it’s keeping his mouth shut.

I didn't realize we lost Sam Hubbard in the 1st quarter. So, we had both starting CB's and both starting DE's out and still came out 2nd half in dominating fashion. NFL team power ratings have the Bengals #4 in the NFL and that's with a very banged up and injured team The offense is getting players back and near 100%, except for TE Hurst. Hopefully the defense can get some missing players back in these final weeks. Bengals win out, they're looking at a #2 seed by way of SOS, with some help a possible #1 seed.

An interesting note: The Bengals have not given up a 2nd half touchdown, their last seven games.
Quite remarkable!

What a scary sight to watch tonight. I’ve never seen anything that scary on the football field before. Prayers for Damar Hamlin. The decision to postpone this game was the right call. Couldn’t imagine trying to play after watching someone get CPR on the field like that.

That is being heavily disputed by Troy Vincent and the NFL...from what I heard on a talk show earlier today Vincent said the NFL never said "be ready in 5 minutes" and he doesn't know where Joe Buck/MNF got that info.

Never been prouder of the Bengals organization, the team and the fans. They are a class act. Everyone is praying for a full recovery for Damar Hamlin
I am a friend of Micah Hyde, who Damar has replaced while Micah goes through a season of rehab. Damar is very much like Micah in many respects, as he has been very active off the field, helping those less fortunate. What goes around comes around and this is our moment to give on his behalf.

As if these two fan bases already weren’t close, I think these two are forever connected at the hip and have each other’s back. Not many fan bases can say that about another one. Both of these organizations handled this about as good as possible considering no one had ever been through that.

Saw a lot of consoling and hugging between the two teams and Joe Burrow coming over and consoling & hugging Josh Allen, the same for Zach Taylor greeting and consoling Shawn McDermott. I agree, though they will be strong competitors, there is tremendous mutual respect for one another and a bond that will never be broken.

You would see that in any game between any 2 NFL teams. There is a brotherhood when a member is close to death on the field of play

There is a brotherhood when a member is close to death on the field of play Perhaps, but I can't imagine anyplace offering more love and support, than what was universally expressed that fateful evening. The NFL game, quite often is ugly and brutal, quite often devoid of civility and the fans leave one shaking our heads at times. Hundreds of letters from Bills fans, thanking everyone for the love and compassion expressed in Paul Brown stadium that evening, has established an eternal bond between the Bills & Bengals and their fans as well. Just learned that Joe Burrow, the Bengal team captains and Zach Taylor paid an unexpected visit to the Bills locker room afterwards, to offer their support.

Not perhaps, positively. Surely you're not suggesting that Cincinnati is the only city in the country that can show compassion and love in the time of near tragedy. I am certain that any team's captains would do what Taylor and Burrow did. From my experience not everyone in Cincy always shows their "love" at all times.

I'm with WF here. And none of our opinions are really of any concern here. Had this terrible incident happened at any NFL stadium the players would have acted very similarly. This is the 2022 23 NFL not the 1975 NFL where the players actually did want to kill their opponent. In general these NFL players know they are in a unique fraternity and they consider each other brothers.Highly competitive brothers but brothers nun the less.

Again, very proud of the team and fans, with their outpouring of love and compassion through this traumatic turn of events, from a long anticipated matchup of two outstanding football teams, lost in a moments loss of a heartbeat.

Maybe the Bengals should show the ultimate compassion and award a win in the game to Buffalo instead of finishing the game...

Just letting this game go as a canceled game is the only thing you can do. You can’t squeeze in a game when playoffs start next week.

That's your opinion and I feel your opinion is 1000% wrong. I'm as big of a Browns fan is there is and I have many Steelers and Ravens friends. IMO opinion only Buckeye fans bleed their obsession with a "game"

Fact of the matter is, the Browns, Niners, Ravens, Steelers or whoever, have nothing to do with this situation, other than there is a certain brotherhood among all players in the NFL.
There has been a massive, out pouring of love and appreciation expressed from Bills fans, towards the Bengals, many of whom have adopted as their second team. One thing is for certain, there will be an eternal bond between these two teams, from this point on.
