I’m interested to hear the reasoning. Has to be more to it.

I hope it is not a serious health issue. Strange time to resign. Parent / coach issues?

There could be more fall out after the year about other coaches and situation. why would he have to resign immediately and other coaches not be disciplined until after the season? That makes no sense.

That's an ugly situation, If they disciplined all the coaches, Then no games, Then no participation, We can not have that.

There could be more fall out after the year about other coaches and situation. Well I have still heard varying reasons for the resignation to begin with. Not very reliable info from where I heard it from. Care to elaborate on what happened?

All I could get from a reliable Adm source is that it had nothing to do with improper contact between coach and a player. I did notice that their tallest player was not at their last 2 games, but did see her in attendance at the boys game.

I was told after a game, he was going into locker room. Knocked on door to see if girls were ready for a male to enter, got told it was OK, walked in, some weren’t ready, and assistant said he barged in.

The situation has been kept very quiet.
If it is because the admin is being very thorough in their investigation then kudos. You don’t see that very often. Usually it’s hashed out in the court of public opinion.
Problem is the longer this goes without publicly available information the more people speculate. I would think making things public fairly soon would be a good idea, but I’m not a school administrator.

The other coaches were trying to get other kids to speak up against the head coach and they had no problems with the coach. So when the locker room situation happened, the AD did not look into the issue at all. Sounds like AD has not even had any conversation with parents either. Assistant coaches got what they wanted but not working out well at all.
