Has anyone heard anything about Amazon building a facility in the Mansfield area? Specifically at the site of the old GM stamping plant in Ontario. Would make sense as it would be on US 30 with easy access to 71 and 23. Mansfield has an airport that can handle large jet cargo planes and there is already a FedEx facility in Ontario. I looked at a map and Amazon has nothing south of Findlay and Canton to Columbus.

It would be an ideal location and would be great for the local economy. The only problem is finding workers. And there’s not nearly enough housing for more people. That being said, I’d love to see it happen.

I would think the vast amount of the employees would come from people in this area who are currently living in a house or apartment.

That sounds like the Findlay facility, local people from Findlay, McComb, North Baltimore, etc. I Googled the Findlay facility and they are hiring. It got a 3.5 favorability rating from those who work there.

A lot of good workers choose not to work, instead sit around and collect unwarranted money from the government. That will be taken care of by the next congress.
