I think new D coordinator for Fliers finds a way to slow down the Pirates. But it won’t be enough in the end. 21- 7 Pirates.

it seems Perkins is riding too high after Bellevue and Clyde is the type to shock the world as they say.

Anyone thinking Clyde is going to ‘shock the world’ hasn’t seen Perkins play this season. The talent gap is large. The smoke and mirrors Clyde runs may keep them around for a quarter, if they’re lucky. Lesch is in another stratosphere when it comes to high school QB play at this level. And the skill players for Perkins can’t be touched by any team not named TCC or Glenville in this area. If Clyde can hold the Pirates under 40, count it as a win.

Who do you know at Perkins that gives you the idea “they’re riding too high” after Bellevue? The Redmen were never seen as a challenge. Name value got them their “state rank”. Anyone with a morsel of common sense seen that blowout coming it seems Perkins is riding too high after Bellevue and Clyde is the type to shock the world as they say.

Clyde has a long history of beating teams with Perkins credentials. A prime example is when they rolled over to Perkins some years back and took down the #1 state ranked pirates. They are also the most consistent program in the area over the last twenty five years. Now that doesn’t mean Clyde will beat Perkins. Heck I’d put money on Perkins to win but there are reasons why Clyde will get the benefit of the doubt here.

Perkins by a least 3 TDs. Nobody in this area has the speed at the skill positions remotely close to the Pirates. Wondering if some of these predictions on here have even seen them play. It's pretty impressive.

That let down game is coming for the Pirates. Coming off a big win vs. Bellevue, at Clyde, would seem like a good time for that to happen

Definitely a big let down spot for the pirates here. Coach Santoro will need to make sure there is no hangover from an emotional win.

I'm not saying Clyde will win. Just saying don't be shocked if they do as redskinfan indicated with their History.
One thing to Clyde's advantage is they have already played a caliber type opponent in Cardinal Mooney

Being a Bellevue guy I'm sure Santoro needs no help being motivated going against Clyde.

Perkins cruises in this one. A lot of respect for Clyde, but they don't have the talent to hang with Perkins for 4 quarters. Perkins likely won't be tested until they play TC.
Smart strategy nonetheless by Perkins coaches creating accounts and picking the other team each week on this website. They know their players read the site, and they use the posts as motivation.

This site has reached new heights when thee Perkins football coaches know about this place. This has to be the peak of this forum. I’m honored to be in the presence of greatness.

It's pretty impressive. you are correct with the 3 score win, but I’m guessing you haven’t seen Brockington or Gooding for TC?

There might be some of the holdovers from the Huddle days that recall a statement I made that Clyde would be the 900 lb gorilla for the foreseeable future. It turned out to be true, but times change and so did the SBC. I've been lucky enough to see some of those teams and their tournament runs, I admire the Clyde program. That being said, Perkins takes 'em to the shed.

I will give you guys the tradition. I’ll give you guys the most consistent program over last 25 years. The state championship a few years ago for Clyde was excellent. Bravo. But none of that is going to help close the gap in skill talent and trench play this Friday. I’m sorry, none of those kids playing on either side will be helped/hurt by the past. It would be the largest upset in the state for Week 6 if Clyde wins the game. Barring injury for either side.

Call it hyperbole then….Don’t say Clyde was “undermanned”, “overrated” or anything else to diminish Perkins’ 3+ score win Friday 😎
