Here is an article that was published on Friday. thoughts? Also, does anyone think it will gain some traction for the Winter and Spring Sports? www.10tv.com/article/news/local/ohio/legislation-ohio-ohsaa-high-school-ticket-price-decrease/530-860c29e5-d308-415e-a3ad-5b5129364aa3These prices are definitely getting out of hand and these prices are very comparable or even higher than some college football prices. For example at Ashland University Reserve Seating- $16.00 GA Adult- $11.00 GA Student and Senior- $6.00 Of note- This is primary for post season play especially for Football games, every league/school is different during the regular season. But something needs to be fixed to encourage people to go to post season contests.

Well the bad press finally got to the OHSAA. They have announced that all ticket prices will be $12 and $9 both online and at the gate. It's a start, I sure hope the pressure can be put on more to force the OHSAA to continue to reduce prices.

The issue is the gate should go to the schools that are hosting the games. No matter what the ticket prices are, the schools should be keeping it. I don’t mind paying when it’s going into the right hands. Why is OHSAA collecting the money the school has earned through the hard work of the student athletes? NCAA lite.

Just another money grab by OHSAA. Division 1 only 7 teams did NOT make the playoffs. What a joke AND the host schools don't get the money??? When my youngest graduates next year: If I wanna watch, I'll pay to stream it. It'll be cheaper anyways.

The big issue at most schools is kids are accustomed to getting in FREE for home games for various reasons.

Itty bitty victory for the rep
