Dump, I like your analysis on Huron however I have a couple things to add.
One Im told by my sources that Dominic Barnes out of Huron is also an early candidate for player of the year. He sat out most of last year for disciplinary reasons, my sources tell me he threw a chair at a middle school employee.
Two Im told Austin Spicer out of Margaretta is also in the running even though he has already graduated. He impressed so much that he may receive votes without even playing a minute.
Third does anyone know where Willard Fillmore is?
Fourth keep an eye out for Gabe Bradfeild out of St. Mary's.

Lyle, good point on Barnes. Was not sure if he passed OHSAA didplinary guidelines. Saw him play last summer at a summer league game and he had 25 points in no more than 10 minutes. He was tossed in the second quarter of the game for hitting another player in the gentinals. When his head is on straight he's a POY candidate.
Lyle, have you heard anything about Chad Carter being added on to the coaching staff? If so this is a game changer for the tigers. Carter was a 100 meter dash champion at Margaretta.

Sounds like Barnes is not someone we don't want playing for us (Huron), Has no respect for authority, Throws a chair at a school employee? Punches another player? Don't care of how many points he scores, No discipline, No thanks.

May- if you have seen Barnes play you would change your tune. The kid has true D1 potential. Sure he has displayed questionable behavior in the past but I believe he can get it right. He played his AAu ball with king James this past summer and was successful. He played three tournaments with them and led the team in scoring. I don't see anyone getting in his way for league POY.

Projected First Team All-SBC G-Barnes (Huron), G-Spitler (Perkins), F-Roesch (Perkins), F-Ostheimer (Edison), C-Brenner (Port Clinton) I am not familiar enough with Vermillion yet so I have not reserved a spot for them at the table. Perkins will be tough and big with Zahneiser, Roesch, and Helmut on the front line, with good guards supporting. Huron sounds like it will be tough at the guard spots, but I don't know if Gioffre gives them enough size. Edison will have to overcome the football hangover quick to stay competitive, but they have confidence and will be physical. PC guards are small but they could be tough on the front line as well. Brenner could be a 20-10 player a night. Oak Harbor may be down for awhile as wrestling continues to plague the bball team. Clyde will be young but Nicely leads them here too. Margaretta will be scrappy and surprise some teams, but this is going to be a tough conference to get wins in.
