LOL.. I was exhausted and fell asleep mid-game (I am in to work at 5:30 am, so.....) but I did wake back up and catch the late 3rd and 4th quarters. Clemson earned it, and the ending was fitting to what you would expect between the last two teams playing in the land.

Instant classic in the title game. Glad to see Clemson win.....means the Buckeyes were at least eliminated by the national champion, and also keeps us tied for the most CFP Titles. Kinda underscores how well the Buckeye defense played throughout their game with Clemson. Alabama gave up 35 with a contributing offense, while the Buckeyes held Clemson in check at 17 most of the game with an absent offense. Great game and epic finish to this one!

I think OSU's defense was the best unit in the playoffs.

Been hearing on sEcSPN the blame is being laid in Sarkisian's lap, since he didn't have a "plan B" when his tailback went down. Sounds like Saban blaming another O-coordinator. Who in the heck has separate game plans for players getting injured in the middle of a game? With that being said, I think Bama wins if their TB doesn't get hurt. With him playing, I seriously doubt they go 3 and out on 7 straight series.

It was squarely Sark's fault. 0 for 15 in their last 15 third down attempts. He more or less abandoned the running game in the 2nd half and went 3 and out on most of his possessions. Had he at least gone 3 and out running the ball instead of throwing all of those incompletions in the 3rd and 4th quarters they would have easily eaten up another 5 to 6 minutes of clock and thus would have won the game. And that's assuming that none of those runs went for a first down.
