Pick is in, REDS on the clock. Yay Raccoons waking me up at 5:30AM. Coons? When racoons try to get on our back porch, Momma just chase 'em off with a broom. Yeah. It's a big one trying to get at my dog food that I keep in a galvanized trash can with a bungee cord over the top. The raccoon lifts the lid up and tries to slide it under the bungee cord. I normally hear it and go out there and spot light it and it runs away. I'd like to take my 357 to it but unfortunately I put the trash can behind a chain link fence and in front of a large propane tank, so that would be ill-advised. What I might do is rig up one of those spring-loaded boxing gloves to hit him in the face when he opens the can next time. |
