5th year comimg up...
With next season being our 5th year together I thought (as others have suggested) that we should do something special to celebrate.
I've asked of the possibility of hosting either our pre-season draft or post-season trophy presentation where I work. Before I go about booking the reservation I wanted to get your opinions. I know we're displaced all over this great country, and for some the travel costs to Columbus could be quite a bit.
The room rental could possibly be waived but definitely reduced. We would need to pay for food and bev but if everybody attended it would cost about $50 each and that would cover our servers as well. Beer would be included. Menu would be typical ballpark fare, snacks and dessert along with assorted soda, bottled water as well as the aforementioned beers.
We could do either the draft in February or the post-season party in late September or October.
Thoughts?

Anyone know what time today the keeper deadline would be? I seem to remember deadlines either being noon or midnight (EST)
Wonder what happens if the site is still in maintenance mode when the deadline passes....will those of us that haven't selected keepers find a totally empty roster when the site comes back up?

Hopefully ESPN won't do anything until CEO reactivates the league. Even if it does I exported everyone's roster into excel for my preseason research. Worst case is CEO has to manually repopulate our rosters.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, I'll have the designate the keeper date when I re up to league, so everything should be alright.

Looked it up and yeah DRT called the Senzel error on Aug11 and it was never corrected for whatever reason.
It's been fixed. The questions now is do we allow SITH to choose a new player for his minors roster or award him a pick in the Compensatory Round?
I'd probably lean towards the Compensatory Round pick as giving him a choice of players now could be a little unfair to everyone else. Obviously things have changed since the Rosters locked.
Also SITH, is Sam Davis on your minors actually Sam Travis?

I'm kidding...I'll go along with whatever the group says(except forcing which organization lol). I wouldn't mind allowing me to pick a player that wasn't in the 2016 draft but I can see the majority not like that. My mistake adding a guy without checking when he was drafted.. not sure how I did that. My bad...
And CEO your question about Sam Davis/Travis, I would think it is Travis because I can't find a Sam Davis on Baseball Reference other than a Samuel that played in the 50's.
