Maybe in the Google Drive we should start a word document that is league rules? And if I can have another minors promotion I'd like to make one today once games start...  |

I mean, it doesn't have to be exhaustive. And we can have some disclaimer on top that if it isn't explicitly stated in here doesn't mean it's legal. It could just be a living document of things we've decided. Maybe call it "Poop we've decided" and just copy and paste decisions? |

I don't care either way, but if you forced me to guess, I would say that they haven't counted in the past, as I faintly remember possibly adding a player to a persons roster.....and maybe even having this discussion.
idk tho, I'm getting old...
Also, I'm currently working on a google document. When it is suitable, I will email everyone the link.

....yeah....I can't just do that without everyone else giving input. So far, I'm the only one who has said that I didn't think counted as weekly's. I was hoping someone would confirm what I thought, but so far there's been 1 that thinks they do and 1 that thinks they don't.

here is the thing though, if minors promotions don't count against the weekly total then the possibility exists that an owner could just spam minors additions/promotions during a given week to circumvent the hard cap of 5
it is something i would do, in the playoffs, if i had to...if i thought i had a chance to win and i needed to spam some counting stats like Ks/Ws...i would just add every FA pitcher who had less than 2 years service time to my minors roster and call them up without it costing me a transaction
now in a vacuum my mentality would be that promoting a minor leaguer should NOT count as a transaction since they are already on your roster...but we need some sort of check in place to keep owners (especially in the playoffs) from spamming minor additions/promotions...maybe make minors additions not count UNTIL the playoffs...something...then i would be all-in on making minors promotions not count on your weekly transactions
without a check though i have to vote that minors promotions should count against your weekly transaction total

The playoffs/non playoffs stipulations of the rule would kindnof work but some of those matchups at near the end of the season are essentially playoff matchups so there would be no stopping the spamming there. Would def suck if you were battling someone else for a final playoff spot and they spammed the minors promotions against a team that's already out of it, in order to get in the playoffs. |

yeah I want to change my vote. misread it, thought it was minor additions not promotions. promotions is simply an add to your active roster so it should be a part of your weekly transactions.

All Minors transactions are currently on hold until the results of this poll.
After that, TESL gets priority on the 1st Minors move, since this directly affects him now more than anyone else.

Speaking of balance Between 2014-2015 DRT went from 8th to 1st STRO went from 10th to 2nd TL23 went from 9th to 10th Between 2015-2016 SITH went from 9th to 3rd TIG went from 8th to 1st TL23 went from 10th to 10th By that logic: 2017 Reds will finish 1st BELL will finish 2nd TL23 will finish 9th Both offseasons we've had two teams that finished in the bottom 1/3 jump up the the top 1/3 in the league. While putting this Rules and Regulations together, I cam across something.
What do you guys think about making both the Active DL Keeper and Minors Demotion roster moves tradeable? Meaning 'Hey, I dont think I'm going to use my Minors demotion and another team could use it"
EX:
TESL gets:
CEO Minors Demotion Roster Move
CEO gets:
TESL 2018 A-R2Px
This suggestion is for the Roster Move only, not for a player that has been designated as an A-DL Keeper already. I dont think that should change, I think ADLK's should be permanent still once they are designated as such.
