Just picked up tickets to the Game in San Diego on March 18.
Should be winner of Pool C vs Runner up of Pool C. Hopefully US vs DR.
Got super lucky. Was looking and watched before my eyes as front row seats right behind home plate were released. 7 were released. Bought 4, bout to sell 2 on stub hub where they are going for about 2.5x what I paid. Should be a free game.

Dominican Republic wins pool C and punches their ticket to San Diego
USA would advance for sure with a win over Canada tonight, but a loss would put us in an interesting tiebreaker scenario

If there is a 1-2 tie between 3 teams, the team thats allowed the most runs per inning is eliminated and the other two would play a tiebreaker game on monday

Grabbed tix for Friday's game as well.
Friday I'll be on the rail in the Western Metal Supply Building. First time I've been there.
Saturday afternoon will be at Park in the Park out in center.(the green grass beyond center field fence)
Sat night we'll be up front and center.
All the tickets ended up essentially free. Bought 4 for Sat Night for $270. Sold 2 and got back 400. Park in the park tickets are $10, and just picked up the Western Metal Supply seats with the rest. Should I make a Ncoast sign?

Didn't stay up for it, but I see the US had a nice comeback win against Venezuela last night with a couple 8th inning homers

He was.
Ball was dying in that marine layer last night, until Hosmer cut through it.
About 3-4 balls that, off the bat, sounded gone, but died at the track

Tonight's USA vs. Dominican Republic game is now an elimination game. No tiebreakers to worry about, winner moves on to the semifinals in LA, loser is out of the WBC.

Greatest event I've ever witnessed. Unbelievable atmosphere. Stanton destroyed a ball and Jones made a hell of a catch in center. I'll post some pictures tomorrow if I have time.

USA takes down Japan 2-1 in the semifinal, and will face Puerto Rico in the final tomorrow night
This is the farthest team USA has ever advanced in the WBC
