Both, although I believe Wynford still wins the N10 because it's not that strong.Disagree. In each of the last two seasons, the N10 has qualified teams for 3 of the 8 playoff spots in the region that the majority of N10 teams are in. I don't think any league in the North Coast area has done better. I have not seen anything yet that would indicate that the same couldn't happen again this year. At the halfway point: DVI, Region 22 Wynford 4-1, #2 Carey 4-1, #3 Seneca E. 4-0, #6 (only undefeated team in region)

fbfan, Last year in the NOL there was Sandusky, Shelby, and Bellevue that made the playoffs. And that was the NOL's last as a conference. I'm not sure if they had 3 teams in the playoffs the year before but I wouldn't be surprise if they had 3 in the playoffs.

A worthy accomplishment, but made easier by having 24 spots available to those three teams as a whole, as opposed to the N10 grabbing 3 out of eight. .

I see your point now fbfan. It does make it harder to get three teams in the same bracket.

Halfway through the season and the Smith kid quarterbacking Wynford is leading the way for best qb in the league this year... and third in the league in rushing.

Wynford's Wyatt Smith: 56-118. 47%. 896 yards. 11-9 ratio... Also 3rd in league with 116.8 rush ypg. Hoffman had 146.3 rush ypg last year. Who is/was the better quarterback? Don't let most passing yards in a given season dictate who the best/better QB is. There are several other factors that dictate it. Lewis threw the ball nearly 2x as Hoffman last year for only 464 more yards and worse percentage. Doesn't mean he was the best QB.

Sad news out of Wynford yesterday. In the game Saturday at LCC Wyatt Smith quarterback suffered a fractured leg. Prayers for the kid... Goes to see orthopedic on Thursday.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to young Mr. Smith.
Regarding this weeks game, it is a strangely similar situation to last year. Seneca East didn't lose their all league QB before the game, but lost him after just one series of their game with Wynford. It had a great impact on the game. We'll have to wait and see what happens this year.

Looking through Drew Pasteur's projections, looks like it is very likely that all four of those teams above get in the playoffs, with Wynford and Seneca East ( if they beat Carey ) getting home games. Carey with a 79% chance of being in, even with a loss to SE.

LB is defiantly the class of the region.

Whichever is the case, that's the system we have. Better than a poll. If indeed the N10 sends three from R22 this year, that would make 3 years in a row. A pattern developing? Another team from R26 would be an added bonus for the N10 this year. Half the league going to the playoffs would be a stellar accomplishment for any league in any region in Ohio.

Totally agree it's a good accomplishment to send 3 possibly 4 teams to the playoff. Not to shabby for what some call itsy bitsy. Lol! Hope all the teams that can get in do and do well.

I guess nobody told Wynford about last season's jv records.

I guess nobody told Wynford about last season's jv records. What I said was that the N10 would be very close this year and I gave the JV records as my reason why. And it WAS closer than last year.
