I enjoy watching and talking about high school football. I know we are weeks away but why not get the ball rolling. What are your thoughts for this 1st week matchup. I know Port Clinton has had a successful 2 or 3 years, not sure if they have turned a corner or not. What do they have coming back? I don't see this game being real close but who knows. My gut instinct tells me Sandusky by 3 touchdowns.

well streaknation the sbc coaches picked port clinton third in the bay division behind edison and port clinton, but should be competitive against huron, oak harbor and vermilion but against your blue streaks they cannot match your team speed. my gut also says sandusky by 3 tds.

A Sandusky friend told me Sandusky has two quality transfers this year from out of state. One from Alabama and one from Florida. (NO Jeh Leh relations) Was told the Alabama kid was going to play right away but the Florida kid had to sit out 5 games. Anyone know truth to this and what is the ruling for transfers of the sort?

If you are an out of state transfer it's basically just a matter of getting the necessary paperwork to the OHSAA. Moving into ohio from another state clearly meets the change in residency rule. Something VERY out of the ordinary has to occur for an out of state transfer to not get clearance. My guess is your friend is simply mistaken. The transfer rules and how the OHSAA works can be confusing and dificult to understand.

Negative on all accounts, sandusky has some sandtown pure breed speed that PC can't match. It wasn't the speed that impressed me it was the physicality. I knew Sandusky would have speed everywhere. It was the physicality across the board that caught my eye. This is a damn good Blue Streak team that will freight train most everyone on their schedule.

I was also impressed by the physicality. The only team that beat up sandusky last year was Lorain and they went to final 8 in D1 playoffs. Number 4 for sandusky is the areas next breck turner if he is used right. I don't see many teams matching the speed of streaks but Fremont game scares me a bit.
