Wasn't sure where to mention this, so I created a thread
Fostoria Sr. QB Skylar Garcia had a phenomenal night vs. Oak Harbor, that was one of the top individual performances in N/W Ohio in week one.
Skylar was 28-43 for 403 yds. passing, 5 TD's and 44 yds rushing.

Hell of a performance. I was surprised to see this score, not sure if it says more about Oak Harbor or Fostoria.

May be a Fostoria school record for touchdown passes in a game. I know Micah Hyde twice threw for four TDs in a game before his senior season, but I don't know if threw five in a game during his senior year.

Fostoria also had him for 404 yards passing, which tied the school record.

Skylar was 23-43 for 320 yds. and 3 TD's and 2 rushing TD's this week.
He was hampered by the loss of one of his leading receivers, due to injury.

Fremont Ross junior qb hat a breakout game Friday throwing for 427 yards / 6 td passes breaking school record for td passes in 23-37 passing against division 1 findlay. Coach long says he will go next level.Strong arm since opelt.Unfortunately last year he was supposed to start as a sophomore but he broke ankle in pre season
Coming into his own.

Don't know if this would be considered a break out game, but certainly a strong statement, after his injury plagued Sophomore year. I hope to see him in action sometime before I go home to Florida in November. What is your take on his recruiting appeal, will he be attracting the attention of DI schools before it's all done for him at Ross? |
