I checked the MOAC constitution, for team sports, the coach picks the HM. It's item v under F. I think Clark is POY because she's a senior. Stevens is outstanding and deserves it, but her time will come. Btw NU defeated Northmor by a million tonight. I didn't think if coach nominated you you were automatically an HM. If that was case they'd put everyone up. Some very good girls in this league and with Shelby coming in their will be even more. They have 2 8th graders I know are real good they played AAU with my daughter last yr.

4, she's not ahead of Stevens,Douglas, Manaci,Linder. I'd even go with Shelby from ontario, she lead league in scoring and top 5 in steals. But if Stevens isn't the choice then they need to find another way to decide. Clark is for sure ahead of Manaci and Lender. Double-Double Beats 1 dimensional any day!

So BV had to chose between Cowens and Ratcliff and coach chose Cowens. Either would have been right.

If Clark avg a double double she didn't vs BV. I was going off of what they did when I saw them. Manaci had 25 in 2 games and is 2nd in league in scoring. Clark had a ton of reb, only scored 3 pts vs BV at NU. Just got stats for 2nd game she did have DD. She may be ahead of PL girls if she avg a DD. She can rebound I'll give her that. LI1 your not right often but you convinced me she is 3rd in my voting.

I forgot to tell you... that 2 million was with a running clock 2nd half (New rule). Clark 4pts?... guessing 50 rebounds? I know Lienberger had at least 10 steals tonight in the 10min of play with 10pts! Alaina R had about same amount of steals with at least that many boards. Hannah C of course trippled her already leading league assist! At one point in the 10min they played she looked almost bored as she gave yet another assist to M Scowden who finished with 18pts in about 10 min with partial running clock. Clark only played about a quarter, they pulled her early and she returned after the half with an ice bag on her knee. running clock was a good thing.

MM... I agree that the new running clock rule is a good thing. Anyone know what the actual point spread is for that to go into effect?

Officially, they don't want to travel to CF, Shelby, and Ontario. Privately they have some issues with another school.

Very impressive MOAC teams in District semis! They were a underestimated league this year. To bad NU/PL have to knock each other out. I’m picking NU to make it to District Final.

Wasn't in the mood to drive there.

^^^ Do schools bid to host games similar to football play-offs or is it more informal for site selection?

^^^ Do schools bid to host games similar to football play-offs or is it more informal for site selection? I asked the same question to the Delaware Assistant AD and he said that you put in for it. He said its not a money maker though so Delaware usually doesn't put in for it. I was hoping BV would be close to home. He said after everyone gets paid not much goes to host school.

I'll let you know about the noodle situation after the game. It's been awhile since I've been at Ridgedale for sports. I think a track meet three years ago was the last time. It's just not the same noodles anywhere else......

^^^ Do schools bid to host games similar to football play-offs or is it more informal for site selection? Not sure how that all works. I didn't grow up in this area, only been in Union County for 17 years, but I was told Ridgedale passed a levy and built that super big gym just so they could host tournament games? Then the population of the school declined big time.

Officially, they don't want to travel to CF, Shelby, and Ontario. Privately they have some issues with another school. Actually they wanted to travel an average overall longer distance and play smaller schools. The same for BV JMHO Ontario over Willard 43-41 for a Sectional Title

Actually they wanted to travel an average overall longer distance and play smaller schools. The same for BV JMHO BV doesn't care how big the school is they just don't want the drive to CF,ONt and SH. With JA and NU leaving its not the MOAC anymore. BV would love to play in a league with the county teams, Tangy, Nut, Delaware and Liberty but couple ADs don't want that. They will go to a league where they will drive to Cbus and surrounding areas, which with traffic maybe longer drives. NU leaving for same reason and the dislike for a team up rt 4
