So Norwalk is very lucky that Mansfields QB has to sit 5 games. The backup is one heck of a athlete but can't throw the ball to save his life. That being said Mansfield has a big Oline and D line this year. If Norwalk doesn't put a good line together they could be in for a long night. Mansfield looks to easily be a playoff team this year and possibly 10-0.

I think Norwalk can go 7-3 or 8-2. The 6”6 300 pound lineman who is a D1 prospect and only junior will help the line. I don’t think they will beat Mansfield or Clyde, Sandusky lost a lot but they will go as far as the Stewart kid can take them.

I went to the 7 on 7 at Norwalk against Western Reserve on Wednesday. Norwalk did alright they still got some more improvement but all in all they did aright. Haraway is playing receiver this year and considering I haven't seen him play since he was in 6th grade he did pretty good. He dropped the ball a few times but he did make some very impressive catches. The team still needs to get their timing down but that will come together. I think they will still make it this year, maybe they might not win the championship but they might still make the playoffs. Anyway here is Norwalk's scrimmages this year. August 7th-home-Olmsted Falls, 10am. August 11th-home-Genoa, 10am. and August 17th-away-Huron, 6pm. Norwalk plays their scrimmages on the JV Field behind the High School.

So you know all about Norwalk football, but haven't seen Haraway play since 6th grade? The previous coach damn near killed the kid 2 seasons ago, and you missed it? Did you happen to notice that Norwalk was using their backup QB vs WR?

If the kid enrolled and attended school at the end of last year he would fall under the old rules. That is how I understood it. I might be wrong.

Back off sport. Until you know what has been going on in my house you wouldn't be questioning me like that, and yes I took the first part of your statement as an attack on my intelligent and I do not like that at all. I may have not been able to go to all the games like I wanted too, but I have kept track of them the best way that I could have. Those last two seasons I have been busy visiting one of my sons down at Muskingum University, I have been helping my other son out doing things for him, I have been helping my wife through many joint transplants, and even though I am cured of my HEP-C, it has destroyed part of my liver and I have to go to the Cleveland Clinic for check ups, and treatments, plus I still volunteer at our local hospital and my church. And I still do all this with a constants pain in my only shoulder that I have left. Now BACK OFF SPORT.

Wow, somebody has somebody has their panties in a bunch. I have plenty of things going on in my life as well (including kids in college), and I managed to at least see a kid play since 6th grade. Perhaps you are not quite in touch with Norwalk football like you seem to think you are? Maybe you should BACK OFF pretending like you know more than you really do? Enjoy your day.

Been AWOL for a bit, just read from beginning to end.
Perkins, doesn't surprise me with what was said. I spoken to enough to know discipline is a thing of the past, I am a little surprised because even the kids with parents in high places didn't get you even starting time in my day on the gridiron, Farlow's philosophy if your the best you play if you're a baby and whine and the best, hang out on the sidelines.
The Lake division, it still goes through Clyde, OH. Enough said. They're only school I've seen find a way to stop great talent.

Sandusky scrimmaged Medina today. You can really see the difference in size and numbers from D3 to D1 but Sandusky didn't do real bad. They were able to move the ball. Pass defense was suspect. Sandusky freshman looked real good against Medina.

LOL Just saying.

A little surprising, but the SBC coaches poll result was:
8 - Bellevue 9 - Sandusky 11 - Clyde 14 - Norwalk 22 - Perkins 24 - Columbian

Columbian will surprise many people this year. No way do they finish last. They should be right in the mix at the end of the season.
