Clyde and Sandusky will be at it. Sandusky has the best running back in the area for the next two years so they will go as far as he can take them. Clyde will be Clyde, curious to see how it shakes out. I think Clyde and sandusky both make playoffs again.

This should be a very competitive year in the bay with the big three all looking solid.
Sandusky lost a ton but has a great RB and plenty of talent waiting.
Clyde is Clyde. Although I do wonder just how much losing Ray Long will affect that defense. Clyde’s defense has been outstanding for a long time under Coach Long.
Bellevue will be Bellevue. Tough physical football for four quarters will win you a lot of games.
Norwalk has a new coach and a much hyped transfer. Does Haraway play? If he plays it could change some thingss. Speaking of Laroux, I’m curious to see how he plays against Lake level competition. Large jump from Friday nights against Plymouth to Friday nights against Clyde.
The Perkins faithful are polishing their pitch forks and fueling up their torches in anticipation of the first game Perkins looses this season.
Columbian will continue the process of rebuilding. Here’s hoping they have some success this year. Going 0-10 sucks.

Actually . . . 2 Leroux transfers - a senior and a junior. They've been working hard in the off-season, various camps, clinics, etc. I am excited to see what they will bring to the team, as well as the new coach!
After an injury 2 years ago that delayed his basketball season, Haraway did not play last year. With basketball being his primary sport, I do not expect to see him play football this year.

The Leroux transfers will help, I think Norwalk will be better than expected this year. However, big difference from blocking and running against the new londons to the Clyde and Sandusky.

Completely agree Streak in regards to the difference in talent, but I would think they can help. Norwalk will be better due to more talent and the change in coaching staff and the new work ethic in the weightroom. I was also told that Haraway will be playing this season.

If haraway plays, I see a 6 or 7 win season.

these boys transferred to norwalk? meaning not move? meaning sit the 50% 2nd half of the season which means they play barely any league games.

They moved or changed residencies which I guess allows them to play immediately.

The family moved / relocated to Norwalk. The younger one sat out part of the track season until OHSAA approved the residency change and then made it to regionals in the shot put for Norwalk.

Clyde or Sandusky could challenge for a regional title with TCC moving to D2 this year. Really opens up region 10. I'm going with Sandusky to win the SBC Lake this season.

I am so tired of hearing about Perkins's lynch mob, because their not seeing W's.
Reminds me of when Farlow was ran out of town because he had a down year. What a joke.
I would love to see the dads in the stands that are pro's at play calling and coaching to head up the team and construct a 10-0 season.
IMO don't look at the coaches, look at the kids, they're the ones playing. If you don't want to put the time effort, blood, sweat, and tears in don't expect results. Trust me I know from personal experience.

The top spot will go to either Clyde or Sandusky, obviously. If Stewart puts up better numbers than he did last season, they edge out Clyde.
Bellevue will be a tough game as always. they loose some speed with the graduation of Mcpeak and Francis, but they constantly put 70+ kids on their roster, gotta be some talent in a pool that big.
Norwalk should be in a better situation to win a few more games this year. Raymore returns, and can hopefully stay healthy. The line should be much improved with the addition of the Leroux brothers. Standout wrestler, and LB Hernandez is another year older. Really tough kid. If Haraway returns, you are looking at a 8 win team easy.
TC had a lot of younger talent last year, could possibly make games a little more competitive then in years past.
Perkins, well 3 wins would be a small step in the right direction.
1-Sandusky 2-Clyde 3-Norwalk 4- Bellevue 5-TC 6-Perkins

The kids here now were brought through the younger grades during the winning years, now there may be a sense of entitlement. Also, you can’t be a party animal and a serious athlete at the same time, some(not all)of the kids they are dependent upon to preform need to check their off-the-field distractions. That being said no matter how many games he loses this year, it is unlikely the coach will be fired. Pretty sad to see all those empty home seats though.

To the best of my knowledge having played for Farlow from 02-04, there was no hazing incident and believe me I would have known. we did have an exceptional kicker leave the team in 04 prior to the 1st game, for reasons unknown.
I know the pirates went 7-4 in 03 making the playoffs, and losing to Desales. Then in 04 which must have been the straw that broke the camels back we went 3-7. Its tough though, come the 1st game of the year to be down 7-8 guys and the majority of them being upperclassman who would have saw only playing time on fridays. Then add in about 7-10 more injuries throughout the year that put 1 way guys, into 2 ways guys, and 2 way guys to never coming off the field guys.
I will leave my sources anonymous because I do get around. I have spoken to many around this immediate area and the undisciplined, disrespectful, and entitled kids playing ball, is heavily outweighing the other. Heard a few are legit D1 athletes if they put the time and heart into it, but just don't care enough. Facebook, girls, and going out is where its at for them.
Pretty sad to see that nice new stadium not be sold out every friday. God knows we would have loved to play in that, hell we would have loved just turf!!

Farlow just might be back on the sideline this season as an assistant.

Birdman, you would know more about the Farlow situation than I would. I was out of the area on business during Rocky’s reign. that’s what I heard from a group of parents in the stands last year. They all seemed to be in agreement that he was fired for a hazing incident, but that was obviously bad intel. You are 100% correct about this group of kids. There are some good ones as well, but not enough to make a difference. Just to be fair this is not all on the kids, the disrespect and locker room shenanigans goes unchecked by the coaching staff. That is a beautiful stadium though, I played on the old field a couple of times, and I thought the Perkins stands were big then.

On the topic of Haraway...It's my understanding that if he does indeed play this fall, it won't be at QB.

Norwalk could go anywhere from 3-7 to 7-3, New coach lower grade talent couple of transfers, who knows, be sides SBC there noncon is not very forgiving either, with Man's Sr, PC one of the top Bay teams Edison, may be down a little, and Norwayne, not sure what you get there, Shelby, will still be good, but not as good as last year, and then the meat grinder of the SBC Lake. So we'll see could be interesting , need to figure out QB, but have young talent and a couple of key seniors in raymore and livingston. Also heard they got a transfer QB from Ontario but have not verified that yet. The young D from last year should be improved and we'll see the difference Fox makes.

The QB transfer from Ontario was confirmed months ago. His Dad open enrolled him shortly after the mid point in the school year, to beat the new transfer rule. So he could sit the first half of the season and get to play in the 2nd half and the playoffs next year. So, Norwalk will be dealing with the 2nd string QB.

I agree, NHS could finish anywhere between 3-7 and 7-3. It should be an interesting season. As far as Mansfield's QB transfer, if NHS plays the Tygers during the first half of the season they could see him.

The incident occurred in the Fall '04 campaign, though it was less ritual hazing and more "one guy being gross." Not that there WEREN'T already calls for his head, and not all coming from football parents.

If he is on the sidelines as an assistant this year, it will be interesting to see their reaction. I always thought he was a pretty good coach, might be what Perkins needs to turn things around.

The junior running back from Sandusky Stewart is getting some big ten looks. He is going to have a big two years for the Blue Streaks. I just hope they have some other weapons around him because teams will key in on him.

Any word on Haraway playing for Norwalk this year? I heard yes but not at qb. They will be tested in game 1 against Mansfield senior who is projected to win the OCC this year.
