So it has been confirmed that Tom Herman (head coach at Texas, and some say the guy who tipped off this entire investigation) was part of the strip club trip with Smith. And after that news comes out, Paul Finebaum (Mr. SEC/ESPN), posts a video in which he calls OSU "petty" for confirming that Herman was at the strip club. Gimme a break.

Should it be noted that the report says that A police chief instead of THE police chief? No. That should not be noted, uttered or heard. . . . . . . . . . IMO

So you are confirming that Powell police chief Gary Vest himself contacted the University police chief.

I think Gary was probably getting a haircut & shave from Floyd, and named Deputy Fife as acting chief. Barney probably called OSU, thinking if he could score some tickets he might get a little from Thelma Lou. Barney blabbed and here we are.

Blurb on ESPN this morning that Courtney Smith has refuted the claim that OSU sent lawyers to her house in hopes that she would drop 2015 claims against her husband:
"According to the Dispatch, the 2015 police report said that Courtney Smith told police that Ohio State sent a lawyer to her home after a previous incident in hopes of "convincing her to drop the charge because it would embarrass OSU if she proceeded with the prosecution." Smith said she doesn't remember telling police about any such conversation.
"No way. I would have never said that," she said Wednesday night.
I think what shocked me the most is that ESPN actually put this story on the front page of their website. And for those that have twitter, Zach Smith got loose last night and is on the offensive against McMurphy. This story is far from over.

Brett McMurphy needs to be sued, sued, sued, and sued again. Pathetic reporting by a shaddy reported. He got 1 side, didn't confirm anything, wrote many things he later edited out (without mentioning that he edited them). He needs to be sued into oblivion.

I think his time is coming, as one of the tweets that Smith sent out was directed right at McMurphy and it read "see you in court".

I hope McMurphy is sued. Irresponsible reporting impacts lives. McMurphy in desperation to be hired by somebody, after he was let go by ESPN, went the way of today's FAKE NEWS. It got him a nothing job with "Stadium", a one year old digital television and internet sports network.

So let me get this straight. The 2015 Courtney Smith statement as documented in the police report and reported by the Columbus Dispatch is not credible. But the 2018 Courtney Smith statement as reported by ESPN is credible. Okay, got it.

That has been the issue the entire time for me.
ESPN believes her story as if it was told by the big man himself.
I hope the people at ESPN end up having a give an apology statement at the end of the day and eat a whole lot of crow.

He plead to a disordely conduct and his ex-wife gets a 3 year protection order against him. Urban Meyer got suspended because an assistant got a minor misdemeanor. Yes you read that correctly

That is true. A reduction from Criminal Trespass to disorderly conduct was given and both parties agree to a 3-year civil protection order. He pays about $300 in fines to end it but probably lost millions.

Yes you read that correctly Urban Meyer got suspended because he brought an assistant on with baggage from Florida and withheld this information from the university. Yes, this current case was plead out(as most domestic cases are). Quite frankly he needs to be suspended again for last season's Iowa and this season's Purdue debacles.

Zach surfaced and unleashed a two day twitter melt down aimed at Tom Herman. Accused Herman of cheating on his wife and visiting massage parlors etc etc. I assume at some point the boosters will hush him up but we’ll see.

Today’s allegations against Zach and Urban throws some more gasoline on the fire. At what point does the university get tired of death by slow drip?
