The Cleveland Browns showed real class last night, not standing for national anthem!!!!
Everyone of them should be suspended from some games without pay!!!
And if they don't like that, pack your bags and get out of this great country!!!!

yeah, or you know, we could just let them express themselves in whatever non-violent way that they choose like the free men they are

Kizer named the starter for 3rd preseason game, which typically means you're the starter for week 1 of the regular season.

Really won't be watching the Browns much this season after yet another stunt with the national anthem. How embarrassing can this team be? Here is to hoping for a plague of injuries and many losses this season.

Isn't starting the rookie qb and tanking pretty close to the same thing?

How can you say not any good ? They played the Steelers very close. We are not good enough yet but closing the gap 90% roster 3 years or less. And hopefully Kizor is the answer with 4 picks first 2 rds.

I think I'm happy they're starting Kizer, because I don't want them to pass on Darnold with the old 'well, we have to see what we have in Kizer first'
With that being said, I thought Kizer played OK...didn't lose the game for them, but there seems to be too much praise for him for yesterday. This game shouldn't have been close, Pit shot themselves in the foot quite a few times to keep the Browns in it. Kizers QBR was in the 20s. He made some terrible throws, missed some throws and held the ball too long. You'll get that with a rookie QB. He looked pretty good on other throws as well, moved in the pocket and showed some poise. However, if he doesn't learn to get rid of the ball and to slide effectively, he isn't going to make it much past about week 7 without being injured.
Defense looked good, but you have to wonder if the defense is good or if Pit is just starting to get ramped up, given that a few of their bigger star players barely participated in preseason

Bell didn't even report to camp until after the very last day. They barely used him. At least not like they typically would once he's in game shape.

Browns will be Browns.
Kizer played like a Rookie, you might even be able to say he lost the game for them...when he was playing.

CEO South:Kizer played like a Rookie, you might even be able to say he lost the game for them...when he was playing.
Agreed to a point....Hue put him and Hogan in bad spots with his play calling. End of 1st half 1st down in field goal range with an inexperienced QB.Everyone in Cleveland was yelling for a TO to set up a play or 2 before half and at least get 3 points. Pisspoor play calling and worse execution leads to a TO and a 10 maybe 14 point swing. I blame both the QB and the HC but I was more miffed at Hue at the time.He set Hogan up for disaster and it happened.
2nd half 1st and goal at the 4 and Hue calls 3 straight passes. If I were Isaiah Crowell, who I believe wasn't even on the field,I'd were apesh*t bonkers. Hue put Kizer in a bad spot and Kizer did a bad job. Head coaches should make the proper calls rookie QBs make mistakes. Those 2 situations where the head coach also screwed up cost the Browns potentially a 17-21 point difference.

Interesting term for the CBS "color" man who described the Browns as "undisciplined." Gee with all the interceptions and stupid penalties how could he have ever thought that?

I'll bet the NY Jets are licking their chops at the prospect of playing the Browns this week.

I have to say that if you are a Browns fan watching Wentz play tonight you have to be absolutely sick to your stomach right now thinking about what you took instead of him.

Coach Huge Action told me to trust him then promptly drafted Cody Kessler. hopefully we fall into Darnold next spring, and hopefully Coach Huge Action isn't allowed anywhere near him
