Heard yesterday that Burrow is winless in Cleveland, and the Browns are 8-2 in the last 10 games vs Cincy.

Welp, Josh Bell didn't make '24 in Cleveland. Not surprising at all. Traded for a single A player. Lol traded for a single A player who is 20 years-old and was the 16th pick in the 2021 draft...and gave up Josh Bell who has been less than stellar.

Tom Howell has resigned at Buckeye Central. Heading back to New London. Interesting. The New London job isn't listed as open. Did Endsley step down or is Howell not going back as the head coach?

What really hurts is that Miami knocked off Milwaukee, which means Cleveland would've had a legit chance to reach the Eastern Conference finals, and gain some valuable playoff experience for the younger guys. Instead, the franchise is left looking at the future of their head coach and questioning a few guys who many thought were cornerstones of the team. No doubt. Before, and even during most of the season, I felt like Garland, Mobley, Allen, and Mitchell were basically untouchable. Now not so much, specifically Allen. And it wasn’t just the playoffs with him, the whole last month or so of the season it felt like he wasn’t making any impact on the court. Rubio can also go, he brings nothing. And then guys like Osman, Okoro, Levert they all have their awesome moments throughout the season but feels like we can get better pieces than them., Is Allen hurt and we just don't know it? Everybody has a bad game, totally understandable. But to get pushed around the entire series by Mitchell Robinson is inexcusable. He didn't even put up a fight. Robinson was laughing at him last night in the 4th quarter and just shaking his head. He basically challenged your manhood, and Allen's response was to just put his head down and run upcourt. Mobley got exposed as well, he has to get stronger over the summer. Hell, even Donovan Mitchell shied away from the moment. I've seen others calling for JB's removal, but I don't think that will happen. If you fire him, who is the replacement? I know Nick Nurse is out there, but I've head some national guys saying he's looking for a bigger job than Cleveland. That being said, we all know that Dan Gilbert isn't the most patient man in the world. And as you mentioned, the bench needs to be re-worked as well.

Well it was a good season.. just good, not great. No way this Cavs team is winning three in a row. There needs to be some big moves this off-season. The way this team is currently constructed just isn’t it. Call this a hot take, I don’t care, but I think it’s fair to question if Allen is the right guy at center too. Is he really worth 20 million a year? Everyone talks about Mobley needing to put on weight but Allen really needs to as well. Allen is a head scratcher right now. When he missed games during the season, our defense really suffered, as he wasn't there to clog the middle/block shots/grab rebounds. But he's doing none of that in the playoffs, and isn't even putting up a fight.

We gave more to family and their really close friends. But you obviously get alot of invites from casual friends when your kids are seniors.

Not shocked to lose the opener, but didn't expect to give up so many offensive rebounds.

Can anyone explain why the ump called an infraction in the 8th on Karinchack which resulted in a ball? I asked my son the same question and he said it was due to trying to quick pitch. He had been warned earlier in the bat. So you can't pitch too soon. But you can't pitch too late. Not a fan of the pitch clock.

I'd say I watch +/- 100 Guardians games per season. Maybe not all 9 innings but a significant part of many games and my initial thought on the pitch clock is a big fail. I didn't see the Karinchak blow it last night due to the clock so that's not my reasoning. I told my wife while watching Beiber thru 4 that I didn't like this pace at all. Maybe it will grow on me. completely agree about the clock and the pace of the game. It felt like the first 3 or 4 innings were just "rushed". As a batter they had to hurry-up and get back in the box and get ready, not much time to just collect your thoughts. And if a pitcher is in a rhythm and pitching quickly, there doesn't seem to be a way to slow him down too much. Baseball was built on not being constrained by a clock, and it seems like they've taken that away to a certain degree. Again, it's early, so maybe my thoughts will change as I get used to it. But my initial reaction is that I don't like it.

HAHAHA!! "Shocked the world"? They went into that season with prior back to back undefeated seasons and and a single loss in the Div 1 tournament. Dropping down to Div 2 in their next season put them as one of the favorite teams in the state. They were likely ranked top 5 in the state the entire season. They would probably have 3 titles if they were in Div 2 to begin with. I find this comment pretty funny. I'm not saying you specifically, but I can remember alot of people saying Norwalk couldn't win State because they didn't play a hard enough schedule. Now we're saying that they could've won 3? Let's not forget that Norwalk got 2 huge breaks in that tourney run. One, A.J. Harris broke his ankle in the regionals, which meant Norwalk played Thurgood Marshall instead of perennial power Dayton Dunbar (and that would've been a tough matchup). Two, Akron St Vincent-St Mary lost in the semi-finals. Again, ASVSM was just a bad matchup for Norwalk. I won't say Norwalk was unknown across the State, but they'd never been to State before and were sort of the "unknown commodity" amongst those 4 teams.

After watching Royal up close this past weekend, is he good enough to play meaningful minutes next season? I thought he was based on the State games from last year and the semi-final game this year. But his performance in the finals left me scratching my head a bit. Poor shooting performance and couldn't get inside against a freshman. I'm willing to chalk it up as a "bad night".

3 of them will be a toss-up. Richmond Heights will roll unless they beat themselves. I'm hoping for good games today since we've been here all weekend, especially since the semis have been pretty entertaining, but I'm not expecting it.

I'm not sure D1 or D4 will be in doubt. D2 should be competitive. And the entire arena will be rooting for OG in the D3 game, but Lutheran East is talented and has alot of size.

Sandusky has NEVER won a regional game, in 11 or 12 attempts, so maybe the big lights/big stage have alot to do with this as well. Good season, but only 1 team gets to end their season on a happy note.

at least at the D2 level there's a chance to overcome the teams like Lutheran West...it's even worse at the D3 and D4 level...teams like Richmond Heights, etc.

mcm1019, Sorry about that ha. I will say that with the decor of the Post I was transferred in a time machine back to 1972. Only thing missing is the old jukebox...I dropped alot of money into that thing to hear "Too Much Time on My Hands" by Styxx...and when the convenience store next door was open (The Hitching Post) I dumped the rest of my money into the Donkey Kong Jr. arcade game. It is a thin, somewhat greasy pizza, but that's the pizza of my youth.

Tried Danny Ray's in Willard recently. Just ok probably wont return but in all fairness I seldom get pizza in Willard. My wife and I prefer a short road trip for a pizza meal. Also as I'm typing I realized we recently tried pizza post in Norwalk for 1st time. Lots of cheese kinds greasy and 6/10. We don't drink when out so this doesn't matter to us but they recently did away with beer and wine. Don't know why. 6/10 for my beloved Pizza Post? Those might be fighting words, lol (I say that because I almost single-handedly kept them in business during my teenage years in that neighborhood).

I'm going to sound like my grandpa when I say this, but the younger generation can't focus on anything for longer than about 10 seconds, so that's why there's this attempt to speed things up. As a kid I always hoped for extra innings so I could get as much bang for my buck as possible. And I still don't understand the bigger bases change. Oh well, go Indians!
