After talking to a few people, this is what I gathered. Dating back to when he first took over, the assistants have been running the show, so this shouldn’t mess with the team too bad. The DC took over. From day one Ross was missing practices, didn’t attend the Bluffton camp last month, on and on. That’s going to get you fired.
I for one didn’t know any of that was going on. Guess he even missed the senior dinner last year, it’s been an ongoing thing.

Can confirm. No clue why. But the Facebook page says for a lack of administration support, he was forced to. Tough break, thought he had the program going in a good direction. He wasn’t a traditional coach, a teacher, or any of that. But they played well for him. Sucks to see for the kids, just before the start of the season.

They have some size. Couple kids look 6-4+.
They didn’t move the ball the couple of offensive series I watched. Their defense was okay

I think Galion defense will be decent this year, just because of their size. Offensive line will be good. Stayed for half of the scrimmage against Lex.

He and River Valleys 2/3 will be very very good in the league the next two years. 1 and 2 best players in league, I’ll say Harding has the third with Marquis Long.

Starting a threat for next basketball season.
Latest news I’ve seen is Shelby’s Bruskotter has two D1 offers now, Akron and Toledo.

Harding will have the best athletes in the area, but that hasn’t meant much for them in the past. There’s an RV transfer on the team I noticed.
Galion will be better with the now junior class. Pleasant will be down, RV should be better. Shelby takes a step back, still battles for league with CF, maybe Harding.
Highland and Galion similar strength.

Good win by Shelby, who will win the MOAC. Bruskotter is the best player in the league. Back and forth game, whippets put it away late.

Harding will be interesting. Athletes as always, have some key seniors to replace.
Galion will be improved big time. Rid of the headache Hanif, return a ton of starters and a very good will be junior class. A lot of OL and defense, playmakers are will be juniors. Could compete for MOAC in 2 years.
Pleasant step forward obviously.

Harding loss to pleasant still looks stupid. Presidents will beat Ontario and Clear Fork will lose to Shelby. Harding would be league runner up, now it’ll be clear fork and Harding both with 2 league losses. Although Harding beat CF

Harding should be good in skill positions and probably the fastest team in the league. They will hurt in the trenches though, likely being their downfall. 4-6 prediction.

Have decent numbers showing up, always have athletes. They are always beat in trenches though. I’m interested to see Ross coach, his style, etc.

Previous Harding head coach will be coaching DBs at Findlay High School. Quick move for a guy that said he wanted to step away for his family. I get it, not a head coach so a lesser role. But into coaching that quick, makes you think he wasn’t honest in his reason leaving.

Loney is now an assistant coach at Mansfield Senior. Nice move for their staff imo. Looks like he will wait a year for another HC opportunity

Misty Starks has resigned as head coach of the Marion Harding girls team. She did pretty well as young coach, had some solid teams. A lot of the major sports teams have went through changes in last two months. Interesting. Should be a decent job with a decent amount of applicants. Douglas gone but some young solid players return

I don’t do the back and forths on these forums. There are people who said he didn’t do it, people said he did. Fact is Shelby lost a coach over bitterness and it hurt their program. All I’ll say.

I know for a fact he was not removed for coaching. Exactly, so maybe the reason he was removed was because of something inexcusable. Or maybe it wasn’t true

Harding hired Demetrius Ross as the next football coach. Experience is some semi pro coaching I believe. Owns a company that helps teenagers through sports and other aspects. Former alumni. On paper it does not look like a great hire but I think it could be a guy that connects with the kids better than slater and others in past. Simple, the team just has to utilize athletes as they’ve failed to do.

Harding boys win the boys championship. Team is full of athletes. Set a 4x200 event and school record.
