Are we still thinking Schwemley is a good coach ? Another league loss to the team that is 0-6 in league play. Sure was a lot of votes for Shelby to with the MOAC on here, I was not one of them. A lot of you guys have not heard and seen the inside of this program from people that have. TJ Pugh needs to run from this program before he waste the next two years. They have to regret coming to Shelby. Move to Ontario or Lex before its too late No one picked CF so I guess you also picked wrong.

BV falls to Hayes 56-44 Friday night. With only 8 dressing varsity lack of depth is becoming a major problem when starters have 2 fouls in 1st qtr every game. Hayes 1-3-1 zone put an end to BVs 12 pt early lead. BVs coaches and players can't figure out how to beat the zone. Play at Fairfield Union tonight

Went to watch Pleasant tonight because they have had some nice wins and were undefeated in the league. They got out played and out hustled badly by BV tonight. Amazing to watch how hard BV plays and if I’m not mistaken they started 3 freshman and had one more coming off the bench. Pleasant seemed flustered all night with BVs ball pressure and was out of sync. Maybe good for Pleasant to get woken up with this loss. Pleasant is a talented team. Luckily for MOAC teams, BV is off to the mid-state league next year otherwise they would be a force to deal with these next few years. Gates of Babylon, do you agree? Maybe Pleasant had an off night, but I thought they were out played tonight. I agree BG. BV out played them but also think Pleasant had an off night. 3 freshman did start and Thompson lead the way to the win. Scowden looked to be over the bug he had last week.

Please, the Galion drive is barely 50 minutes. I'll give you that the Shelby drive is probably unpleasant. I'm sorry, but there is no way that you can pay me to drive south of BV anywhere around Columbus during rush hour. Good luck with that. I agree. Varsity games at 730 is not rush hour so a 50 min drive puts you at 630-645. So can still make Whitehall game in 50 min just like a Galion game.

Like 1 said Mrs Stout, he chose family 1st and that good for him And his family. I hate the league change myself and won't make most road games. My daughter didn't play varsity last year so I'm saying what I've said when Fraker was there, anyone with half basketball knowledge could win with the 4 SR. and a 6'1 junior last yr. I have nothing against Travis, wished he would have stayed, he didn't. Wish Fitz would have gotten the shot at coaching he desierves, but he didn't. The drive to CF, Ont,Shelby and Galion are not short rides for BV. At the end of the day you help your child get the work in and hope they succeed at what they want to do.

what loaded team are you talking about? They didn’t do a thing when they were freshmen, sophomores, juniors. Also, boos for what? He went to the school his family is at, I believe. Many people in the stands noticed. She also told BV people it had nothing to do with boos and she just didn’t want to do it. I just said what everyone is talking about. I believe you that they noticed. The ones around me were mad because they wanted to give him hard time. Family 1st for sure, and footprints from stepping stone at his old family school will fade with time. Yes loaded Sr class. Roll ball out on floor and win 15 last year. That SR. class under performed before last yr because Fraker had no clue. 1 is correct in saying anyone could of coached them last yr and just rolled the ball on the court and said play and would have won 15 games. BV has some talent but won't get the most out of them the way it's going. Already had 1 quit that should have played some varsity.

Pleasant beats BV by 2 on late layup. BV was up 9 and coach went to a diamond defense that girls had no clue where they should be and pleasant girl hit 3 3's from same spot to get them back in it.

CF handles BV 56-43. CF is solid, well coached. Won't beat themselves. BV went cold after being up 14-7 at the end of 1.

BV at MH Tuesday. Two undefeated teams. Think MH gets them by double digits. BV can't put ball in the hole. Play pretty good D and is long everywhere. After 2 weeks it's Shelby and MH as teams to beat.

BV over Ontario 32-31 on put back with :3 left. Officiating awful for both. BV can't score and ontario had one girl scoring all their points. 14 of the 18 they had at half. Box and 1 in 2nd half held her to 2.

4, I'd say MH and Shelby will be top 2 in MOAC this yr. with RV not having their best player till January from what I've heard, they will struggle. Saw MH at OWU and they're big and Douglas makes everyone better. BV returns 1 starter so they will be in middle of pack.

Bertke, doesn’t play volleyball anymore. POY in softball last year. Wickline is the other post, also a Junior. She played last year, didn’t play her Freshman year. They also have a 5’10” Senior guard that wasn’t there today due to a National Honor Society trip. Baller, Bertke have the sister that's a freshman with knee brace? That girl will be real good.

Cardington's JR class should be loaded. I know they had 3 6 foot girls when they were in the 8th grade. 2 of them could have played for Galion's varsity at the time(not that it was any big accomplishment). Galion. They have 2 six footers. The Jr. Is all everything in volleyball and all state as a pitcher I believe. The other is a sr who didn't play last yr is what I was told today. They will be playing 2-3 freshman this year plus Edwards twin freshman will see some time. Young.

6 teams were at OWU for scrimmage. Harding looks good. Good size and the best or next to the best player in league. BV will struggle to score. Cardington looks good. Lot of young girls playing with Edwards Sr. daughter.

Ok.... let’s move on. What are some first big opening game matchups? Season will be here in a few weeks. I think Thursday, November 29 is opening night. List big games and dates if you have them. Thanks. BV opens with Hayes. Pre sale tickets on sale 2 weeks early at school. Gym can't hold all that will come. Hayes gym was packed last yr and it holds I'd say 300 or more than BV. On 30th

Shelby will be really good this year! My favorites to win the league. They have a few key returnees, and three VERY GOOD Freshmen. Shelby looked really good at the NEO 3 on 3 this summer, making it to the Final 4. The NEO 3 on 3 was loaded with top programs. Olivia Baker and Sophie Niese are the Frosh to keep an eye out for. Olivia's twin, Haylee, could make an impact as well. My daughter played with Olivia in AAU 2 yrs ago. Very good player. Her sister practice with them and didn't know they were twins till half way through season. Didnt look like twins and Olivias game looked 2 yrs ahead of Haylees. If Sophie is a PG then she played with them a couple times as well. BV will be underclass loaded with only 2 SRs
