Not a save, it was an OG. I talked to Tangys coach the whole time in stands and Gast brothers were watching from bleachers. Their 1st scrimmage is the 12th I believe. If you get a chance to see Olentangy play they have one of the best players around and fun to watch.

Watched BV and Olentangy scrimmage last night. Maybe deepest BV team I've seen, but young. May take some games to get use to each other but can see 2-3 freshman playing good minutes. Can see Scowden starting or the 6th man and Thompson is versatile can come in and sub for the 2,3 and is a good shooter and quick. Beard same can come in for the 3,4 and spell Newland and Luke. With this much depth I look for them to run more than they have in past few years. I agree Pleasant is the team to beat, not knowing anything about Shelby. How were they scrimmaging last night when the season doesn't begin until this coming Friday? Coaches weren't coaching, kids were on thier own with coaches sitting back watching. More of an open gym.

I think the league will be very deep this season with some very good teams. Thanks for posting all of the stats and percentages. Looks as if teams have a lot coming back for this season. Pleasant should be very good along with Shelby as well with what everyone is saying. It will be interesting to see if the BV coaching staff plays any of those really good freshman right away on varsity. Ontario and Clear Fork will also be good and RV and Harding will be competitive. Excited for this season to start so I can get out and watch some games! Watched BV and Olentangy scrimmage last night. Maybe deepest BV team I've seen, but young. Left at half. Galion killing themselves with turnovers and penalties.

I would have taken Galion to beat BV at start of yr, but BV has found something with RB and Middle of the Defense.

4, I've said since they were in 5th grade to watch this class at BV. Troy works hard and gets better everytime I see him. Can hit from outside also. Dylan Thompson is another freshman to watch this year. In my opinion he is close to being a starter but is a great 6th man. Has a knack of knowing where the ball is going to be and can score going to rim. Can hit 3's as well. They will be fun to watch

I'd say if you want to see a close game no. That would be Ontario and RV. The other 3 games should be blowouts. Close, maybe. I was right. Ont and RV was the closest game. BV winning was the game of the yr. Galion scoring that much suprised me so I give them all the credit for showing up to the big dog

I left at half. I was thirsty and I could have called Pleasants plays from my seats. BV knew what was coming and loaded the box with all but 1CB and the Safty. Looked like Michigans offense. Great win for BV, even without an offense. Force a TO on opening KO, block a punt, and get an int all in 1st half inside the 35 of PL and only get 6. Game ball to the D and the kicker. Congrats to CF on being the best team in MOAC

Not many JV teams left in basketball at D3 from what I've seen. Dennison and Otterbein only 2 last yr that I saw that had them, and they only played once. Varsity roster of about 20 I suppose I should have been clearer. I was also speaking of the D2 schools who have started jv teams. Heidelberg, Defiance, Wooster, Ohio Northern, Bluffton, Otterbein, Wittenberg, Tiffin, Ashland, Walsh, Malone, Mount Vernon, Muskingum, Baldwin Wallace, just to name a few that I know play jv schedules but others may not know about. Otterbein played 1 JV game last year.

Dude, your are right, making any college roster is an accomplishment. My son, Bones from BV from 2017 never got the chance to play till his last yr and made the most of it. Was always thinking baseball but grew to 6'9 and things changed to basketball. Now at Otterbeien playing basketball, something I could have ever thought would happen though we worked at it a great deal. You make a college team you have done something right.
