Kenton and Upper should partner up and apply for the MOAC. Would solve issues for both schools. Is MOAC looking to expand? Supposedly they said Shelby could come in "if" they had a suitable partner. Question would be, if that offer applies to others.

Every coach is on a one year contract so finding the best coach next year is possible regardless of who was hired now. What gt is asking is did they get the best coach available at this time. I cannot answer that as I was not involved, but I do know that some experience did apply and was interviewed. Curious, do some labor contracts say preference must be given to a teacher who signs the internal posting over an outside applicant? Yes. Usually with wording like "qualified" or "more qualified".

It will be interesting how district Joe team does against vermilion if they come out like they did in their last game we may have to rethink district To sectional. As WF said, they have been below avg this year. They have the talent to upset a few teams, but are not deep on the bench ..

Ontario-56 PC-42 F PC had a 5 pt lead early in the 3rd Qt. 3-pointers quit falling for PC in the 2nd half after the 28 foot fade away jumper that beat the halftime buzzer. Ontario played better defense in the 2nd half, they were terrible on their pick and roll defense in the first half. If a coach has never played zone in his coaching career he should play one against Ontario, they are not a very good 3 point shooting team. On the other hand if Ontario has a 5 point lead, they should hold the ball at half court until the opponent comes out of their zone. Allowing Ontario's good sized and athletic guards to drive to the basket, which they are much better at. I don't mind winning 35-30. In the past 2 games Ontario has gone to a 4 guard offense instead of their normal 2 post offense rotating their 6-7 and two 6-4 players. It has seemed to activate the team in both game. Ontario quit jacking 3s and started to take it to the rim to get the old fashion 3 point play. They were like 3-15 in the first half from 3 point land.
