So it seems that Lexington, in addition to West Holmes voted NO on every vote yesterday as well. Medina Buckeye was the possible 8th member. The expansion ideas were all voted down by WH and Lex. Guess they are waiting for CF to re-consider!

The league stays at status quo as West Holmes rejects all options. Maybe it's time to move on from West Holmes.

Wauseon has to be the favorite in this district, making it to the final Four last year with a lot back. they are still undefeated. Elida, wapak, and Shawnee are next.

Big Walnut can get them to 8 Dover, NP, Louisville can get them to 10. Those 3, and CCC in the East, BW, Shelby, or Marion Harding in the West.

Big meeting today of the OCC with the Superintendents, Principals, and ADs about the future of the conference moving forward. Stay the same, add an 8th team, or expand to 10 or 12. Something is going to happen today!

Ryan Pore or Larrick. leading scorer in Madison history? I would think Campbell would not qualify.

Dude, I could be mistaken but I think Campbell already got to 1,000 at St Peter's last year.

The drawing is not too far off on Feb. 11. Currently, 10 of the 14 teams in the district have winning records, led by Vermilion at 9-1. Let's get the party started. This district is wide open with a lot of very good but not great teams. Some big games will take place before seeding meeting, and will go a long way in determining seeds.

Senior is playing Whitehall-Yearling at the Q this afternoon at 3pm. Burtin may or may not be back this week, depending on practice time.

There was nothing better than a Jan/Feb road trip in a school bus to Dover, NP, or Coshocton! I had to suffer, so, so should the Tygers of today! There's nothing to the north except maybe Cloverleaf, Norwalk. Senior setting relationship with Perkins in football. Norwalk 2018 opener. Wait, is Norwalk playing Senior in 18 in football? Week 1 Norwalk A Week 2 Perkins A Week 3 Westerville North H Week 4 West Holmes A Week 5 Maple Hts H Week 6 Lexington H Week 7 Ashland A Week 8 Wooster H Week 9 Mt Vernon H Week 10 Madison A

Are you saying we have shrinkage? It is cold! Looking at 3-8 numbers, probably leveling off, and definitely not going back to D 1! Ideally, add Dover, NP, and Louisville in east and Big Nut and Shelby in west. Easier for crossover games.

Why don't you just say Wooster and West Holmes? I say add Dover, NP and pursue Big Walnut. 10 teams, then Woo and WH can have Dover, NP and Ashland east, Madison, Sr, Lex, MtV, and BW west.

Senior beat W Holmes 78-58 this afternoon at home. BJ Patrick had 31 and Hilory had 16. Good effort for the Tygers today.

Based on watching JV teams and underclassmen returning. Stover, Vore, and other youngsters got lots of PT last year. Wooster is Wooster! Senior returns everyone except Harris but have they improved? We will find out this weekend.

Jornell Manns has elected to stay home and play basketball again for the Tygers, so the early enrollment to Minnesota is off.

We apologize for lack of heat and hot water last week at Arlin. New Athletic Administration has no clue about playoffs. Probably had stadium winterized after the Madison game. No excuses because we have held playoff games for years!

I would think Tiffin also, but we would take it at Arlin! Probably Massillon/New Albany for us. Go Whippets. Whippet Good. Can’t play at Arlin Field. OHSAA doesn’t allow a team to play on same field twice in playoffs. Don't know where you got that. We've had several games where teams played more than once at Arlin. Whitmer comes to mind and Kenton. Whitmer plays another Olentangy school this week and they were at Tiffin last week. We shall see tomorrow, but sites tend to leak out early!

Dress warm. Game time temp looks to be 29* with 14 mph north wind. First game of the year that has a wind chill factor! As much as I want to see a Shelby-Clear Fork matchup next week at Arlin, something tells me Bellevue wins this one.

Bellevue fans coming to Mansfield via Rte 4 to US 30. If you are coming to eat before the game, take the Lex-Springmill exit in Ontario. Every restaurant known to man is there! Arlin Field is on W 4th St, which in Ontario has a Denny's, Charleys, and Speedway on the corners. Stadium is 2 miles east. Parking for away team is off of 4th St, or the lot south of stadium. If you park in the main lot, you have a good walk to the other side of the stadium. There is also a large lot east of stadium at Startek, within 300 yards on left side. Should be a great game. Looking forward to it.

Willard, program was wrong. Manns quit basketball 4 games into the season last year to run indoor track and another reason which I won't go into. He is leaving for Minnesota in January as an early enrollee. It allows him to participate in spring ball and get a jump on academics. Wants to become a travelling nurse. Great kid that got straight A's in honors classes first quarter. Great role model, unlike some of our basketball players.
