Bauer to start game 1, Kluber game 2 and Carrasco game 3. Tomlin is probable for game 4 and Kluber would go if it comes down to game 5.

This will be the 3rd time the Indians have faced the Yankees in the ALDS, and interestingly enough, they have all come in years ending in 7

As I thought. Almonte not on the roster, Allen on the roster and Kipnis in Centerfield. Along with Kipnis, verterans Brantley and Chisenhall make the roster. Francona going with defense in the infield with Urchela in the starting lineup, Gonzales makes the roster and Diaz the best hitter of the 3 not making the roster.
Relievers Goody, Otero, McCallister on the roster every day of the regular season were left off the playoff roster in favor of their #5 and #6 starters that were put in the bullpen. The 3 relievers left off the roster pitched a combined 176 2/3 innings with a 2.25 ERA.

Bauer pitched a helluva game tonight. Tribe had so many opportunities to blow this one wide open. I'll take a shutout.

Congrats, you get a golden star douche. I posted that knowing you would jump on it, when I was wrong. Bauer has been pitching amazing since the break. 10-3. Bahahaha, you fell for it. Look who got embarrassed. You douche nozzle.

With the emergence of Trevor Bauer to fortify the Kluber/Carrasca 1=2 punch, the Indians pitching staff is even more formidable than last years. Credit pitching coach Mickey Callaway for much of the development and cohesiveness of this group of pitchers, and don't forget the relievers, considered by many as the best in baseball.
When Bauer added a slider to further complement his repertoire of pitches, that made him much more effective and it certainly showed the last half of the season. I gotta think, Kluber has been working with him in developing his slider. Just a broad view of all the young players who have come on this year and are now, solid contributors, speaks volumes of the coaching staff, from Francona on down. The perfect example is a story on the staff spending countless hours analyzing and scoping out the probable AL MVP, the beast Aaron Judge, striking him out five times. Details, preparation and strategy is what it's all about and there is nobody in the game, better at it than Francona.

The Indians clearly have the best pitching team in the MLB. I don't think its even close from top to bottom. We have a team that is batting roughly .270, which is pretty darn good. If the bats keep swinging, the pitching will take care of itself.
CC will be a tough match-up for our hitters but so will Kluber for NYY.

When you woke up this morning?? A blow hard fan like you didn't watch the game??? I made that post when he was taken out of the game in the 6th after giving up his 2nd hit of the night. If you made that post purposely to get my attention you would have checked it before the morning. Everything you said digs you deeper into your weirdo world of a hole. D Don't make your falsehoods worse than they are. After a prior ignorant insult of Bauer I WAS the one who told you about his stats. And you never responded. The thing is, your predictions are almost never correct and now you're telling us you're always joking about them? HAH! Again, the best you can do is use the homosexual phases you and your "pals" use.

I squirm whenever I hear broadcasters lauding Kluber and his statistics. It's almost like the "kiss of death." as happened tonight.

Amazing! The Tribe was down 6-3 when my wife and I went into the K of C in Attica for a fish fry. After devouring fish for an hour & a half and having no luck with the gun raffle, came out to learn they were now down 8-2 in late innings. Told my wife, guess we'll get-em in New York......wrong! The Yankees are probably thinking....What is it gonna take to beat this team???!!!

Losing Encarcion is a huge bummer. Even if X-rays prove negative, it would be a miracle to get him back.

Carrasco did great in his postseason debut but the offense couldn't get anything done
Will be interesting to see whether or not they get game 4 in tomorrow, and who we start whenever it gets played

Lindor had his HR robbed by Judge who is 8 foot tall or they would have had 2 runs.
Bauer announced to start game 4 on short rest

Don't have a good feeling about tonight or the series. Tribes bats have regressed into the ugly inconsistent slumber mode. Bauer on three days also has to be a concern. Yea, I'm a worry wart, but I've seen this movie way too often. BTW, is anyone else fed up with Buck and the Bronx cheerleading announcers?
