Zach Harrison DE from Olentangy Orange HS, ranked as high as the overall #1 recruit in the 2019 class. Listed anywhere from 6-5 230 to 6-6 245, showed why he's so highly sought after, when he ran a 10.82 100 and a 21.55 200 this spring.

I watched part of Woodbey's press conference and the pre- part via a twitter feed,,,man what a joke. That kid was all about how many followers he could get via the suspense. It was sad and for his parents,,it was cringe worthy almost. "look at me" Odd choice is the understatement of the year,,,it wasn't 11th hour ,,it was an 11:55 hour decision with the short amount of time spent on campus and speaking with the head coach,,and btw only a handful of coaches are even hired yet at FSU and only a handful of recruits. With a decision like that you'd think the kid would wanna know his DB coach and D- coordinator,,especially going clear across the country. In this day and age, a few kids are totally into the 'shock value attention",,,,I almost think that he'll wake up in a few days and ---wonder, "what the heck did I just do?" Another 6-6 season might be in store, with the QB Deondre Francois busted for possession with intent to sell. After all the crap from Jameis Winston, nice tradition going on there at QB.....Willie. Character counts and no one can knock Urban putting a premium on 'high moral character' as a prime qualifier.

All indications Harrison is a heavy lean toward the Buckeyes, but losing another nationally, top ranked player (after Jackson Carman) that is literally in our back yard, would be unfathomable. Such a thought is beyond my comprehension. With that kind of quickness, I would maintain his sleek, physical stature. Make him stronger, not bulkier.

He got a misdemeanor for possession after the cops (lol!!!) surveilled him and dug thru his trash for 4 months. Bad sportsjock. Very bad. I think there is a commandment or something about bearing false witness. www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://chopchat.com/2018/04/19/fsu-football-deondre-francois-victim-flawed-drug-investigation/amp/&ved=2ahUKEwio-rG3qsfaAhWm0YMKHY5eCTIQFjAxegQIBhAB&usg=AOvVaw1Vv0NmHgmHCWfbaHaCCtg-&cf=1

Ohio State recruiting is heating up with yet, another 4* commit in Roswell, Georgia Blessed Trinity Catholic standout Steele Chambers. (sounds like it came from 'Guns & Ammo' magazine) The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Chambers is considered the 29th-best athlete and No. 340 prospect overall in the Class of 2019. He picked Ohio State over more than two dozen other offers from programs such as Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State and Stanford. The coaching staff reportedly will let him decide between offense and defense for the Buckeyes. Although he is a very impressive RB, he impressed me the most with his LB play. What's most impressive, he is a 4.0 student at the all college prep H.S.

Carman became a bad seed when he was tweeting who and why the the QB should be at Ohio State. Not appreciated by the players and coaching staff. Harrison is an honors student who has done very little talking during his recruitment, let alone running his mouth. He has let all of his recruiters know that he does not want a lot of text messages jamming up his phone.

you said he was busted for intent to sell and he wasn't, he was never charged with intent to sell
he was charged with misdemeanor possession of less than an ounce after a 4-month (LOL!) surveillance by Tallahassee Police
you can't be this stupid?

you said he was busted for intent to sell and he wasn't, he was never charged with intent to sell he was charged with misdemeanor possession of less than an ounce after a 4-month (LOL!) surveillance by Tallahassee Police you can't be this stupid? That was the original revelation from 'Land of Ten', as you pointed out, they didn't catch him with the required amount of weed for 'intent to sell'. But as the story suggests, there was sufficient activity to warrant the investigation. As the story elaborates, he chose to throw his girlfriend under the bus, blaming her for the arrest. She's the same women who accused him of domestic battery a while back. No matter what your slant is on all of this, not the kind of press you want your starting QB involved with and one ounce or one pound, still a violation of the athletic code of conduct.

I guess I'm not as passionate about the subject as you, but it's anybody's guess if the girlfriend shares any blame. My only thoughts are, if the Sheriff's office received numerous reports, then it must go beyond his room-mate/companion. It will be interesting to see how coach Willie Taggart handles the situation. I have great respect for his coaching abilities and I understand he is a good recruiter as well.

Troch, I know I am late on this subject but I was a away for the weekend. Anyway I do not see where Sportsjock has to apologize for bearing false witness. He got his information from a newspaper which was giving police reports. That is called passing alone information from reliable sources. Now if he was telling the police or saying he saw him doing the selling or whatever in a court of law, then that is considered bearing false witness. I am going to check this out with a lawyer friend of mine to see if I'm correct on this but I think he would say that I am.

As you pointed out, just relaying press accounts, no malicious intent intended.

I know you was just relaying some newspaper reports on the subject I just wanted to point that out to Torch. Torch I hope we are still friends and we don't have any problems over this cause you also come up with some wisdom of thought. That is one reason I like about this forum we are all good friends, at least some are, here and are willing to put up with each other.

Now really Torch, am I on trial here? If you read back through our back and forth conversations, I explained that 'Land of Ten' reported that police received numerous reports of him selling dope and there was an investigation initiated. obviously, the search didn't reveal enough weed to warrant such a charge. Either he is damn lucky, or he is simply a toker. You need to chill out, you're the only one that is getting ragged out about this. You are not his defense attorney, the kid knew what he was doing and if he's smart, will walk the narrow line till he goes to the NFL or graduates.

U said he was busted for intent to sell and he wasn't. That isn't true. Rofl geez man. Just say u were wrong. I was simply echoing what was reported as fact and of course, it was not. I have zero problem admitting when I am wrong, but in this case, I was not. The source had their facts wrong, with premature assumptions. Let's get back to the topic.....Ohio State recruiting.
