heard douglas went back to harding, he’s a senior so doesn’t matter cause he is gone after this year but i’m wondering the same. Ladd was on the wrestling team, my guess is he missed his friends at pleasant and wanted to get back to pleasant football. Maybe because they’re expected to be better than harding next year who knows. i do know he would have gotten a lot more carries at harding. He woulda been the man along with booker carrying the ball. Not sure who will be at rb now unless there’s a underclassmen that is ready.

I heard Booker is going back to Pleasant next year but it very well could be a rumor. There's a kid at Pleasant now that plays basketball and maybe baseball that came from Elgin, transferred to Pleasant, then to Harding, now back to Pleasant. I might have missed a stop or two in there. Makes you miss the old days with no open enrollment.

i hope not, harding will lose there key piece on offense and defense. I do know he’s more in to baseball tho. but yes i miss the old days where kids stuck were they were and didn’t run from certain situations and it wasn’t so political.

Makes me wish Jordan McCormick didn't transfer out to Elgin after being in Harding Youth and Middle school programs. Coached him for 2 seasons, old school type back who pounds people on contact. Also, would the new coach willingly allow incoming freshman Scott (LJ's cousin) play right away. If he has recovered from his injury.

Rumors are flying about the head coach at Harding, Rumor has it Slate will be named as Head Coach, and will bring in all new coaches with less experience, which I mean no experience coaching. I was told that Chris Brady which is John Bradys younger brother was coming back since he didnt get the HC job at Upper which he was a finalist for. As for the kids Im hearing some kids are transferring into Harding, the McCormick kids is rumored to be coming back along with a few RV kids, but time will tell. Booker is staying put at HHS. As for the Scott kid, he is no where close to being ready for Friday night lights.

when scott is ready he will be good, i hope harding gets those transfers in. can use some help after losing a couple key pieces, last years senior class wasn’t deep in talent but at the top. they could be a good team this year, just depends. wouldn’t mind having new assistants, besides a couple.

Booker doesn't leave Harding not going to sit for half a year on transfer. There is no loophole this time to avoid it.

Booker isn’t going anywhere. on the basketball team now. Good hire in Slater which i thought would get the job all along. He can really coach, gonna be nice to see him over it all now.

Great hire, Slater has a good connection with the kids. Now to see what his staff will look like. Everyone complained about Brady's last staff being too young with no experience, if the rumors are true the fan base will have fun with Slaters staff. His staff will have guys with no coaching experience and one that only coached freshman for 1 year. But He has shoes to fill I believe the only returning varsity coaches will be CJ, Chatman, C. Brady.

been seeing 25-35 players at 545 am workouts for harding, like the numbers. not that culture was bad with brady, Slater seems to be taking it up a notch.

The Thompson kid is good but not D1 good. Even if its a lesser D1 like FAU. I was told his visit was just a school visit while his family went on vacation. Didn’t meet any football personnel hell they didn't even know he was on campus.

i heard was asked to come on an unofficial. if he grows then he’s a d1 player no way around it. tackling machine starting varsity since freshman year. good speed, think he could play FCS or walk on atleast. but bigger d2 probably best spot.

Agree with the tackling machine but missed a ton of 1 on 1 tackles that could have been game savers or winners. Was talking to a few kids from the morning lifting session at the basketball game Friday night and they say Noah is becoming an "all about me" type of kid around the team telling everyone if he is not the QB this year is isn't playing offense. Now if you told me this was Booker id probably believe it. But they say Booker is all in, being a leader with the young guys.. I told these kids a little story of when my son was a senior, Chris Fry was a junior QB for HHS the team went 6-4 knocked off state ranked Mansfield Malabar. The next year Harding had a transfer come in a 6'4 QB and the coaching staff asked Chris to move to WR. He did, no complaining, no bitching and had a great year at WR. I dont think slater would be an ***, but what if a D1 college was interested and they asked what type of character does this kid have? Could be a rough 1st year for Coach Slater and his staff.

Unless Mitch myers is more qb ready then noah will be, i likes noah better as a slot WR and save him some energy for defense instead of running for his life every play. Harding offense would be a lot better if noah is a wr, they will have a solid wr in moaney, H back in booker. Not sure who tail back will be this year. early on but i see slater with a 5-5 team just because he will get the most out of them. Does anyone know the rest of his staffs names ?

Simms and McCormick (If he still plans to transfer in), they would make for a pretty good 1-2 combo.
