Found my favorite Pizza destination. Famous Monster Pizza sorry it's not in Ohio but in Decatur Indiana. Very cool decor, it's done up with classic monsters all around the restaurant. It also has two big screens at each end of the restaurant playing monster movies. Pizzas like Frankenstein, Wolf Man, Count Dracula. If you are a bit nerdy the atmosphere is great. Best of all I would say the pizza we had was at least in my top five all-time favorites, it was awesome. Had The Count Dracula.

There are some killer places to eat in Decatur but I had never heard of Famous Monster. I live less than an hour from Decatur and am going to check this location out. Thank you.

Ha, killer places, Sorry, didn't notice the connection. That was lame even for me. It isn't pizza but has anyone been to the Back 40 in Decatur? Good stuff. There's a fish place nearby whose name I don't recall that is wonderful as well.

Watched a game at Northwestern High School West Salem, friend's son played. Before the game we picked up a pizza from one of his favorites Koenigs Korner,a little spot in Lattasburg just a mile down the road from the stadium. We got the 1/2 sheet pizza with pepperoni and Italian sausage. I would highly recommend getting it with the sausage it had great flavor. I would get this pizza again would also like to try the fried chicken or a sub from there sometime. If you've never heard of Lattasburg like me it's about 10-15min east of Ashland Koenigs Korner in Lattasburg was bought out a while back and is now Madco Market. First that we've been back since the new ownership. Got the 1/2 sheet peperoni and sausage crumbles again. We all thought it was good, I will go back. Glad they didn't change the recipe. They do offer a new round pizza new recipe. They will sell by the slice, so I tried a slice of peperoni. It was ok but the original sheet pizzas are better. The sheet pizzas are a bit pricing, but they are big and it's one of the few pizzas that's good as leftovers.

The Mama's Pizza building in Shelby was torn down this past week. The Restaurant is now inside the newly opened Black Fork Brewing. Which sits right behind the old Mama's building location. No change to the pizza if you are a fan of Mama's. Now you can stop and have a locally crafted beer with your pizza. I have not made it there yet. Anyone tried it out?

Thanks for the heads-up, kritz. I don't live in Lima proper but I live close enough that I should know about this place, which I didn't. I'll check it out. What did you get on your pizza?

Beautiful Wife and I just tried Brick House up in PC... excellent food, including the pizza. Great decor and very clean. A little pricey, but everything is these days. Will return/10.

Found a great pizza place in Zanesville, Picnic Pizza. Very good sauce, great crust I would definitely go back. You know you're up for good pizza when the guy making it is named Vinny. Got to say recently ate at a couple pizza places in Zanesville, and one was Picnic Pizza.Let's start just down the road from it. We ate at a nice sit-down Italian restaurant, Adornettos. Quite a bit nicer restaurant building than Picnic but the food, not anywhere close to as good as Picnic Pizza and was more expensive. Picnic kind of a hole in the wall is run by a true Italian named Vinny. I got to say Picnic is easily in my top 5 favorite pizzas. I would go back anytime to Picnic Pizza, Adornettos nah I'll pass.

I have to agree super cool spot and great pizza, and the garlic cheese bread was awesome also. Wish we had one of these in Ohio.

I heard a not so good rumor that Peans Monroeville could be closing. Probably my favorite in NC Ohio. Toss up between Bakers Bucyrus and Peans but I give slight edge to Peans. Anyway can anyone confirm or deny? I'd hate to lose that place.

Went to 600 Downtown Pizza in Bellefontaine. Good spot I'd recommend trying it out. Had the Galic Knots and a Sicilian Style Pizza, both were good. Looking forward to going back and trying the Pepperollis and a traditional crust pizza.

I ate at Peans a couple weeks ago and asked the long time server,I should know her name but I don't, about the rumor and she said "the rumor is definitely out there but I asked Jeff(owner) about it and he assured me it's not true" Made me feel better.

After a lengthy hiatus, I was really glad Little Italy reopened on Kilbourne St in Bellevue. But, they wanted to move to E. Center St, and there's been a hangup. This has been going on 2-3 years. Looks like yours truly screwed again

It's where Pizza House West used to be, right next to the tracks.

Had a peperoni pizza at the Pizza Cottage in Mount Vernon. Thin and very greasy, won't say I hated it but nothing fabulous. Lots of peperoni, the small type that cup up and cook kind of crunchy had ok flavor but like I said very greasy. Probably wouldn't go back for pizza, had a descent looking sub menu, that I'd be interested in maybe trying.
